A cooking appliance is adapted to perform either as a single large fan-forced convection oven capable of cooking a larger food, or as smaller independently-operable fan-forced convection ovens each capable of cooking smaller foods. Features of the cooking element arrangement provide faster, more efficient, and higher quality results regardless of the size and amount of food being cooked.

A cooking appliance is disclosed that includes a cooking cavity, a first heating element disposed adjacent a top of the cooking cavity, a second heating element disposed adjacent a bottom of the cooking cavity, a temperature sensor adapted to sense the temperature of air within the cooking cavity, a blower arranged to agitate the air within the cooking cavity, a cookware device removably disposed above and in thermal communication with the second heating element, and a controller adapted to manually receiving cooking parameters from a user and sensed temperature information and to independently and selectively control the heating elements and the blower according thereto.

A cooking appliance includes a cooking cavity, a first heating element disposed adjacent a top of the cooking cavity, a second heating element disposed adjacent a bottom of the cooking cavity, first temperature sensor disposed adjacent the top of the cooking cavity, a second temperature sensor disposed adjacent the bottom of the cooking cavity, a blower arranged to agitate air within the cooking cavity, a cookware device removably disposed atop and in thermal contact with the second heating element and the second temperature sensor, and a controller adapted to manually receiving cooking parameters from a user and sensed temperature information from the first and second temperature sensors and to independently and selectively control the heating elements and the blower according thereto.

An outdoor cooker includes an air frying apparatus with a blower, a heater, and a cooking chamber. The cooking chamber has a perforated basket for receiving foodstuff. The blower is adapted to force air through the heater to become heated, into the cooking chamber to air fry the foodstuff, and then back through the heating element in a continuous cycle.

Outdoor air fryer

An outdoor cooking appliance in combination with an air frying apparatus that has a frying burner, a blower, a heat exchanger, and a cooking chamber. The frying burner is adapted to combust fuel to create heat and other products of combustion. The blower is adapted to circulate a cooking airstream. The heat exchanger is adapted to allow passage of the heat from the combusted fuel while preventing passage of the other products of combustion into the cooking air stream. The blower is further adapted to supply the heated cooking airstream through the heat exchanger to the cooking chamber to cook foodstuff disposed therein while the other products of combustion are not supplied to the cooking chamber.

Gas air fryer

An air frying apparatus for use with a gas barbeque or alone has a blower-burner portion and a chamber portion. The blower-burner portion has an intake for receiving ambient air, a burner for heating the received air, a window in communication with the chamber portion, and a blower for dispersing the heated air into the chamber portion. The chamber portion has a perforated basket for receiving foodstuff and is adapted to allow access to the foodstuff by the dispersed heated air. The air heated by the burner is dispersed through the window to the chamber portion by the blower where it air-fries the foodstuff in the basket.

An electrical appliance has a base with a housing portion and a cooking chamber portion. The housing portion includes a pre-heated air intake opening and a heated air exhaust opening with an air path in communication therebetween. The air path has an air blower and an air heater disposed there-in. The cooking chamber portion has an electrical socket and is adapted to receive, one at a time, an air-frying chamber and a deep-frying chamber. The air-frying chamber has a heated air intake opening in communication with the housing portion's heated air exhaust opening when the air-frying chamber is received by the cooking chamber portion. The deep-frying chamber has an oil heating element electrically engageable with the electrical socket when the deep-frying chamber is received by the cooking chamber portion.

Air or deep fryer

An appliance for frying has a frying pot disposed within a housing for containing oil or fat and having a normally-closed valve disposed at a bottom thereof. An oil receiving tank is removably receivable within the housing below the frying pot, and has an oil receiving hole positionable below the draining valve such that when the valve is opened, the or fat may flow from the frying pot into the oil receiving tank. An actuation mechanism disposed entirely on the housing has a first condition wherein the activation mechanism allows removal of the oil receiving tank relative to the housing, a second condition wherein the activation mechanism prevents removal of the oil receiving tank relative to the housing while not opening the valve, and a third condition wherein the activation mechanism prevents removal of the oil receiving tank relative to the housing while opening the valve.

Electric fryer

A counter top cooking appliance has an enclosure defining a cooking chamber arranged to receive a cooking pan. The cooking chamber includes a lower heating element arranged so that the cooking pan may be supported thereon to receive conductive heating there-from, and an upper heating element disposed above and spaced from the cooking pan to provide radiant heating to food there-within. The enclosure includes an upper portion including the upper heating element, and a lower portion including the lower heating element, and a hinge connecting the upper portion to the lower portion. The hinge enables the upper portion to rest atop the lower portion to define the cooking chamber, and alternatively enables the upper portion to be swung relative to the lower portion so that the upper and lower portions are in a parallel side-by-side relationship and both heating elements are arranged so that the cooking pan may be supported on either thereof to receive conductive heating there-from.
