A method for facilitating dynamic-transparency chart overlays via a graphical user interface is provided. The method includes displaying, via a client device, the graphical user interface, the graphical user interface including a graphical element to receive an input; receiving, via the graphical user interface, a request relating to an overlay request that corresponds to a visualization of a chart; retrieving data corresponding to the chart; converting the data into a structured data set based on a parameter; generating an overlay chart based on the structured data set, the overlay chart corresponding to a superimposition of the chart; and displaying, via the client device, the overlay chart on the graphical user interface in response to the request.

Method and system to overlay charts

Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for generating a two-dimensional selectable user experience (UX) element are disclosed. A client device having a graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving user input is configured to run interface applications. The client device is coupled with one or more server devices via a communication network. The one or more server devices provides user interface (UI) metadata. A processor causes a receiver to receive the UI metadata from the one or more server devices; generates, at the client device, a two-dimensional (2D) selectable user experience (UX) element based on the received UI metadata; receives a single action user input to select a single desired field, which conveys two desired actions, from the 2D selectable UX element; and executes the two desired actions based on the selected single desired field from the 2D selectable UX element.

System and method for generating a two-dimensional selectable user experience element

A subsequence of machines used and a cost of providing a subservice in response to a service request with a key is determined. A second cost of using the subsequence of machines to provide the subservice in response to a different service request with a different key is determined. A distance between the cost and the second cost is computed. A value pair is formed using the distance and a number of logged occurrences of the subsequence with the key. The processing of the service request for the key is identified as a suspect for costing an improper computing cost of the service, when an aggregate distance in the value pair fails to exceed a threshold distance.

Automated abnormality detection in service networks

From a log of a machine, an entry is selected relating to providing a subservice in processing a service request from a requestor associated with a key. The log entry includes a subsequence of machines used and a cost of providing the subservice. A set of entries is selected from the log, an entry including the subsequence and a second cost of providing the subservice but in processing a different service request from a different requestor associated with a different key. A distance is computed between the cost and the second cost. A number of occurrences of the subsequence with the key is determined. Using the number and the distance for the subsequence, a value pair is computed. Responsive to an aggregate number in the value pair not exceeding a threshold count. The processing of the service request is output as a suspect for using an improper sequence of machines.
