According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus for providing a game, the apparatus including: a controller configured to generate an image based on input from a user who plays a game, to generate a game object by matching at least one effect to the image, and to provide the effect corresponding to the game object when a request for the use of the game object is received in the game; and storage configured to store the game object.
