Systems and method for automatically assigning cooperative platform tasks to appropriate participants are disclosed. In embodiments, a method includes receiving new task data for a new task posted to a remote server; transforming the new task data by natural language processing to produce transformed new task data; representing the new task as a vector in a vector space based on the transformed new task data, wherein the vector space includes representations of completed tasks, and the completed tasks are associated with respective participants; calculating distances between the new task and the respective completed tasks represented in the vector space; ranking the respective participants based on the distances between the new task and the completed tasks associated with respective participants; determining a select participant of the respective participants to be assigned to the new task based on the ranking; and initiating automatic assignment of the new task to the select participant.

Automatic assignment of cooperative platform tasks

An average computing resource usage for each computing resource associated with a client device is determined. A determination is made whether a workload associated with a database query request received by a database management system should be shared with the client device. In response to determining that the workload associated with the database query request should be shared, one or more plug-ins are transmitted from the database management system to the client device. The one or more plug-ins are software components that add specific features to at least one computer program on the client device. At least one portion of the workload associated with the database query request is transmitted to the client device. The client device processes the workload using the plug-ins, the computer program on the client device, any other programs required to process the workload, and the one or more computing resources associated with the client device.

Client-server workload sharing

A method for collecting monitoring data on a set of monitored computers. The method comprises providing definitions for collection methods for a set of monitoring data, wherein the monitoring data is collected from agents running at monitoring computers, wherein each item of monitoring data has at least one respective collection method. The method further comprises determining a subset of monitoring data to be updated. The method further comprises identifying collection methods corresponding to the subset of monitoring data and triggering the agents running at the monitoring computers to collect monitoring data using the identified collection methods.

Query driven data collection on parallel processing architecture for license metrics software

A computer system may receive two or more messages. Each message may be sent by a user of one of a plurality of virtual machines that are executing on a host machine. Each message may request an adjustment of resource entitlements for the virtual machine. The computer system may aggregate the two or more messages. The computer system may determine whether a particular resource template type associated with at least one of the two or messages should be adjusted based on the aggregated messages.

Virtual machine resource allocation based on user feedback

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a computer implemented method, computer program product, and system for creating a prerequisite checklist corresponding to a software application. In one embodiment, in accordance with the present invention, the computer implemented method includes the steps of identifying prerequisites of a software application that are present in source code of the software application, wherein the prerequisites are software and hardware components, and creating a prerequisite checklist that includes the identified prerequisites of the software application, wherein the prerequisite checklist is in a file format that is compatible with prerequisite checking software. In another embodiment, the computer implemented method includes the steps of analyzing a computer system utilizing the created prerequisite checklist as an input file into prerequisite checking software, and determining whether the computer system is capable if installing and running the software application.
