A vehicle seat including a base, an unlocking device, a release lever, a seat cushion, and a lifter. The unlocking device configured to selectively lock a translatable rail to a fixed rail, the release lever coupled to the base and configured to rotate about a first axis to actuate the unlocking device. The seat cushion coupled to the base and configured to pivot about a second axis between a use position and a non-use position. The lifter configured to rotate about a third axis between a first position, in which the seat cushion is in the non-use position, wherein as the lifter moves from the first position to the second position, the lifter bracket pivots the seat cushion between the use position and the non-use position and engages the release lever to actuate the unlocking device to unlock the translatable rail from the fixed rail.

Vehicle seat assembly

A seat assembly including a base, a seat cushion, a backrest, a cam follower, and a cam. The seat cushion pivotally coupled to the base and the backrest pivotally coupled to the seat cushion. The cam follower coupled to the seat cushion and the cam rotationally coupled to the base and configured to engage the cam follower. The cam configured to engage the cam follower and configured to rotate between a first position, in which the seat cushion is in a use position, and a second position, in which the seat cushion is in a non-use position. As the cam rotates between the first position and the second position, a front portion of the seat cushion may tilt towards the base and a rear portion of the seat cushion may be tilted away from the base.

The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising: a seating portion having a seat frame; a backrest portion pivotably supported on the seating portion; a seat base for supporting the seating portion; and an easy-entry mechanism for displacing the seating portion and the backrest portion with respect to the seat base at least along a longitudinal axis between a use position and an easy-entry position, the easy-entry mechanism comprising: at least one arm pivotably connected with the seat frame and pivotably connected to the seat base at a first position; and at least one sliding pivot joint for supporting the seat frame on the seat base at a second position, the first position being spaced apart from the second position along the longitudinal axis.

Easy-entry vehicle seat

The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising: a seating portion having a seat frame with a pair of frame members and a cross member arranged between the pair of frame members; a seat base for supporting the seating portion; a height-adjustment mechanism for adjusting the height of the seat frame with respect to the seat base, and comprising at least one height-adjustment link; and an easy-entry mechanism for displacing the seating portion with respect to the seat base at least along a longitudinal axis between a use position and an easy-entry position, and comprising at least one easy-entry link being pivotably mounted on the seat base and pivotably connected with the height-adjustment link, the height-adjustment link connecting the easy-entry link with the cross member.

An adjustment device for adjusting a longitudinal position of a vehicle seat comprises a first guide rail, a spindle extending along a longitudinal axis, a holding device connecting the spindle to the first guide rail, a second guide rail being linearly movable along the longitudinal axis with respect to the first guide rail, and a gearing fixed to the second guide rail, the gearing being in operative connection with the spindle to move the second guide rail relative to the first guide rail. The holding device herein comprises a body fixed to the first guide rail and made from a plastics material. In this way an adjustment device is provided which may reduce the complexity in particular of the fixation of the spindle to its associated, first guide rail.
