A body (&#x2033;) produced by an in-mold process has a first film (&#x2033;) with at least one electrical or electronic functional layer (). In a functional area (&#x2033;) of this functional layer, at least one electrical or electronic component is provided, and at least one electrical connection for this is provided in a contact area (&#x2033;). The first film is partially back-injection molded with a plastic main material (&#x2033;) such that the contact area (&#x2033;) is at least partially free from this plastic main material (). Suitable formation of the first film (&#x2033;) guarantees that a tab (F) separated from the plastic main material (&#x2033;) is provided which adjoins a back-injection molded part of the first film in an area of surface (&#x2033;) of the body which is at a distance from an edge (') of the body delimiting the surface () with the first film.

Body produced by an in-mold process and process for the production thereof

The invention relates to a multilayered film element () comprising a first component, more particularly an RFID antenna in the form of a multilayered film element, and to a method for fixing a second component on a film element () of this type. The film element () has a dielectric layer () having a front side (V) and a rear side (R). The film element () has a layer () forming a first component, and at least one component contact area () arranged on the front side (V) and connected to the first component. The film element () has at least one thermode contact layer () which is arranged on the dielectric layer () and which, as seen perpendicularly to the dielectric layer (), is arranged in the region of the at least one component contact area (). The thermode contact layer () has a thermode contact area () on a side facing away from the dielectric layer (), said thermode contact area forming an outer surface of the film element ().

Multilayered film element

A foil element and a method for producing such a foil element. The foil element includes a dielectric carrier layer, which spans an xy plane of a Cartesian coordinate system having an x-axis, a y-axis and a z-axis, and at least one electrically conductive layer which is arranged on the carrier layer and in which a conductor track is shaped in a frame-shaped region of the foil element. The frame-shaped region is formed by the area of a larger, outer rectangle having sides each running parallel to the x-axis or y-axis, from which area the area of a smaller, inner rectangle with the same orientation as the outer rectangle is cut out. A mechanical property of the carrier layer is different along the x-axis and the y-axis. More than 50% of the length of at least one conductor track section runs obliquely with respect to the x-axis and the y-axis.

Foil element

A multilayer film element and a method for producing the same. The multilayer film element includes a flexible dielectric carrier layer having a layer thickness of less than 800 &#x3bc;m and has a first electrically conductive layer, in which a first coil-shaped conductor track is shaped in a first region of the film element, and a second electrically conductive layer, in which a second coil-shaped conductor track is shaped in the first region. The dielectric carrier layer is arranged between the first and second electrically conductive layers, and the first and second conductor tracks overlap at least in regions and are coupled to one another to form an antenna structure.

Multilayer film element

A security document () in the form of a booklet which has a large number of sheets () connected to one another to form the booklet. A first sheet () of the security document has a carrier layer (), an antenna structure ()&#x2014;arranged in a first region ()&#x2014;for RF communication and an electronic circuit ()&#x2014;connected to the antenna structure ()&#x2014;with a memory device for storing data, and a communication device&#x2014;connected to the antenna structure&#x2014;for communicating data stored in the memory device to a reader via a radio interface by means of the antenna structure (). A second sheet () of the security document has a carrier layer () and one or more electrically conductive layers shaped in a second region () for the formation of at least one LCR resonant circuit (). The antenna structure () and the at least one LCR resonant circuit () are arranged on the respective carrier layer in such a way that, when the booklet is closed, the first region () of the first sheet () and the second region () of the second sheet () overlap at least in some regions and the at least one LCR resonant circuit () is electromagnetically coupled to the antenna structure ().

Security document

There is described a process for the production of a multilayer body () having an electrically conductive layer () arranged on a carrier layer (), in which there is provided a transfer film () having a transfer layer () of an electrically conductive polymer. The electrically conductive layer is transferred from the transfer film () on to the multilayer body (). There are also provided a transfer film and a multilayer body produced in accordance with the process.

Multilayered body comprising an electroconductive polymer layer and method for the production thereof

There is described a process for the production of LCDs, in particular PDLCDs, preferably in a roll-to-roll process, wherein in a first process step a first contact layer () and a first electrode layer () spaced therefrom is applied to a base carrier (). A first and a second delimitation layer () is then applied to the base carrier (). Thereafter a functional layer () comprising a PDLCD mixture provided in a porous support matrix is applied between the first and second delimitation layers (and). A protective layer () is then applied to the functional layer () between the first and second delimitation layers (and) and finally there is applied to the protective layer () a second electrode layer () which is contacted with the first contact layer ().
