A gas and steam turbine installation including a gasification device for fossile fuel. The gasification device and the combustion chamber of the gas turbine are connected by a gas line. A gas lock is connected to the gas line. The gas lock includes a quick acting armature, a pressure discharge or over pressure system and a gas lock armature.

Gas and steam turbine installation

A gas and steam turbine plant includes a waste-heat steam generator which is located downstream of a gas turbine on the flue-gas side and which has heating surfaces that are connected into a water/steam circuit of a steam turbine. A gasification device is located upstream of a combustion chamber of the gas turbine through a fuel line, for the integrated gasification of a fossil fuel. The gas and steam turbine plant is to be operated with particularly high plant efficiency even when oil is used as the fossil fuel. Thus, a heat exchanger is connected on the primary side into the fuel line upstream of a mixing apparatus for admixing nitrogen to the gasified fuel, as seen in the direction of flow of the gasified fuel. The heat exchanger is constructed on the secondary side as an evaporator for a flow medium.

Gas and steam turbine plant

A gas and steam-turbine plant includes a heat-recovery steam generator which is connected downstream of a gas turbine on the flue-gas side and has heating surfaces connected in a water/steam circuit of a steam turbine. A gasifier is connected upstream of a combustion chamber of the gas turbine for integrated gasification of a fossil fuel. Oxygen can be fed to the gasifier from an air-separation unit, to which in turn a partial flow of air compressed in an air compressor associated with the gas turbine can be admitted on the inlet side. In such a gas and steam-turbine plant, reliable cooling of the bleed air, in an especially simple type of construction, is to be ensured in all operating states, irrespective of the integration concept which is taken as a basis. Therefore, a heat exchanger for cooling the partial flow of compressed air is connected on the primary side in a bleed-air line connecting the air compressor to the air-separation unit. The heat exchanger is constructed on the secondary side as an evaporator for a flow medium.

Gas and steam-turbine plant

In a gas and steam turbine plant with a waste-heat steam generator, a fuel gasification device is located upstream of the combustion chamber of the gas turbine via a fuel line. The after-heat steam generator is located downstream of the gas turbine on the flue-gas side and the heating surfaces of which are connected into the water/steam circuit of the steam turbine for the integrated gasification of a fossil fuel. For especially high plant efficiency, a heat exchanger is connected on the primary side into the fuel line between the gasification device and a saturator. In addition to a mixing device for admixing nitrogen, the heat exchanger likewise is connected on the secondary side into the fuel line between the saturator and the combustion chamber.

A gas turbine and steam turbine installation has a waste-heat steam generator whose heating surfaces are connected into the water/steam cycle of the steam turbine. A gasification device is connected upstream of the gas turbine in order to provide an integrated gasification of a fossil fuel. Reliable operation of a saturator which is connected into a fuel line is ensured independently of the operating condition of the gasification device. For this purpose, a saturator-water heat exchanger connected with its secondary side into the saturator cycle is supplied, on its primary side, with feed water extracted from the water/steam cycle of the steam turbine. Thus it is possible to heat the feed water cooled in the saturator-water heat exchanger through the use of a partial flow of compressed air, and it is possible to supply the partial flow of compressed air to an air separation unit connected upstream of the gasification device.

Gas turbine and steam turbine installation

A combined gas and steam turbine power generating plant includes a gas turbine, a combustion chamber of the gas turbine, an exhaust gas line of the gas turbine carrying tangible heat; a coal preparation plant including a coal milling and drying device and a coal gasifier with a coal side connected to the coal milling and drying device and a gas side; an air decomposition plant connected upstream of the coal gasifier on the gas side; a heat exchanger plant and a gas purifier connected downstream of the coal gasifier on the gas side including a pure gas line connected to the combustion chamber; a waste heat boiler connected to the exhaust line; and a device for utilizing the tangible heat in the exhaust gas line for drying milled coal in the coal preparation plant.

Combined gas and steam turbine power generating station

A combined gas and steam-turbine power generating station having a gas-turbine unit and a steam turbine unit, the gas-turbine unit having a gas turbine with a combustion chamber, a coal gasifier preceding the gas turbine unit, a heat exchanger plant including a raw gas/pure gas heat exchanger following the coal gasifier, a gas purifier following the heat exchanger plant, a pure-gas line leading from the gas purifier to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine, an air decomposition plant with a molecular sieve regeneration circuit preceding the coal gasifier and having an oxygen line feeding the coal gasifier and a nitrogen line leading to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine, and a nitrogen compressor connected in the nitrogen line, includes at least one air compressor preceding the air decomposition plant and the combustion chamber of the gas turbine, and an air line connecting the air compressor to an input of the air decomposition plant, the air line being divided into two parallel branches, one of the branches including therein a heat exchanger connected into the molecular sieve regeneration circuit of the air decomposition plant and the other of the branches including therein a nitrogen/air heat exchanger leading to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine.

Combined gas and steam-turbine power generating station

Clean-gas continuous-flow intermediate storage plant having at least one high-pressure accumulator, at least one low-pressure accumulator and at least one pressure-increasing compressor connected therein, and having a connection with a gas distribution line, comprising an input line to the low-pressure accumulator, and an output line from the high-pressure accumulator both connected to the gas distribution line, a connecting line connecting the low-pressure accumulator and the high-pressure accumulator to one another and having at least one pressure-increasing compressor inserted therein, and valves built into the input line to the low-pressure accumulator and the output line from the high-pressure accumulator as well as into an output line from the low-pressure accumulator and an input line to the high-pressure accumulator and respective pressure sensors connected to the valves for controlling the valves.

Clean-gas continuous-flow intermediate storage or accumulator plant

Medium-load power generating station with an integrated coal gasification plant, a gas turbine power generating station part connected to the coal gasification plant, a steam power generating station part connected to the raw gas heat exchanger plant of the coal gasification plant, a methanol synthesis plant having a plurality of modules connected in parallel to each other, and a purified gas distribution system which connects the methanol synthesis plant to the gas turbine power generating station part and which includes a purified gas continuous flow interim storage plant and is connected on the gas side to the raw gas heat exchanger plant. The methanol synthesis plant is associated, for hydrogen enrichment, to a 'cooler-saturator loop' which is connected to the raw gas heat exchanger plant and consists of the saturator, a converting plant, cooler and following gas purification plant. In one mode of operation, a water electrolysis plant is associated with the methanol synthesis plant and its hydrogen line is connected to the methanol synthesis plant, and its oxygen line is connected to the coal gasifier.

Medium-load power generating station with an integrated coal

Power generating station with a high-temperature reactor, a steam power generating station connected to the high-temperature reactor, a plant for generating hydrogen from carbon-containing material, with a coal gasifier for the hydrogenating coal gasification, a gas purification plant connected to the gas stream of the coal gasifier, a low-temperature gas separation plant following the gas purification and a tube cracking furnace which is connected to the methane line of this gas decomposition plant heated by the heat transporting medium of the high-temperature reactor for cracking a methane/steam mixture, and with a gas processing plant which is connected to the exhaust gas line of the tube cracking furnace and consists of at least one heat exchanger, a converting plant and a carbon dioxide scrubber. The residual coke of the coal gasifier is fed to an iron bath gasifier and the exhaust gas of the iron bath gasifier is fed, via a heat exchanger plant together with a part of the hydrogen gas leaving the gas processing plant following the tube cracking oven, to a plant for producing chemical raw material.

Power generating plant with an integrated coal gasification plant, with a heat exchanger and gas purification plant connected to the coal gasifier, with a gas turbine and steam power generating plant part connected to the heat exchanger and gas purification plant, and with a methanol synthesis plant. The methanol generated in the methanol synthesis plant as well as the synthesis exhaust gas of the methanol synthesis can be fed, at least partially, to a further subplant for a second chemical manufacturing process and the excess synthesis exhaust gas from the methanol synthesis and the exhaust from this further subplant, to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine power generating plant part.

Power generating station with an integrated coal gasification plant

Gas turbine and steam power generating station with an integrated coal gasification plant which is supplied with oxygen via an air decomposition plant, with a methanol synthesis plant connected to the coal gasification plant, with a steam generating station part connected to the exhaust heat boiler of the gas turbine, as well as with a nitrogen line leading from an air decomposition plant to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine. The coal gasifier for the hydrogenating coal gasification is connected to a hydrogen supply line; the coal gasifier is followed, for utilizing the residual coke, by an iron bath gasifier, which is followed on the exhaust gas side by a converting plant and a carbon dioxide scrubbing plant connected to the hydrogen supply line. The exhaust gas line of the coal gasifier is connected via a gas purifier to a methanol synthesis plant and the exhaust gas line of the methanol synthesis plant is connected to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine.

Gas turbine and steam power-generating plant with integrated coal

Medium-load power generating plant with an integrated coal gasification plant, with a gas-turbine power generating plant part connected to the coal gasification plant, with a steam generating plant part connected to the raw-gas heat exchanger installation of the coal gasification plant, and with a methanol synthesis plant. The methanol synthesis plant has parallel-connected modules and is connected to the gas-turbine power generating plant part via a central purified gas distribution system which includes a purified gas continuous-flow interim storage plant connected parallel to the pure gas supply line and is connected on the gas side to the raw-gas heat exchanger installation.

Medium-load power-generating plant with integrated coal gasification

Power generating station with an integrated coal gasification plant, with an air separation plant, a coal gasifier and a heat exchanger and dust removal plant connected to the coal gasifier, as well as with a gas turbine and steam power generating part connected to the heat exchanger and dust removal plant part. An ammonia synthesis plant is connected to the coal gasification plant with the interposition of a gas purification plant and a gas decomposition plant. Part of the exhaust gas produced in the ammonia synthesis can be fed as so-called purge gas to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine together with the gases separated in the gas purification plant and in the gas separation plant, and part of the dust-free raw gas of the coal gasifier.
