A network access control method involves requesting access to a network via a wireless communication adapter for a personal electronic device. Then, an acoustic audio code output by an audio signaling device connected to the wireless communication adapter by wire is acoustically captured by the personal electronic device. A digital representation of the captured acoustic audio code is submitted from the personal electronic device to the wireless communication adapter via wireless communication. Subsequently, the wireless communication adapter authenticates the personal electronic device on the basis of the submitted digital representation of the captured acoustic audio code.

A wireless data transmitting device comprising a first antenna unit for receiving energy from an alternating electromagnetic field and for converting the energy into an alternating current energy signal and a rectifying unit for converting the alternating current energy signal into a direct current signal. The wireless data transmitting device further comprises a data transmitting unit configured to receive the direct current signal and to generate an aircraft related wireless data signal and a second antenna unit configured to output the aircraft related wireless data signal. A cladding element configured to clad a structural element disposed in a vehicle. The cladding element comprises a transponder. An item of position information, indicating the position of the structural element is stored by the transponder. A method is provided comprising reading out the position information from the transponder of such a cladding element. A computer program is provided for executing and/or controlling the method. Apparatuses for executing and/or controlling the method are disclosed. A vehicle is disclosed having such a cladding element as is a system comprising such a cladding element and such an apparatus.
