A device for adjusting camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel includes a rotatable actuating element arranged between a wheel-side carrier part of a wheel carrier and an axle-side guide part thereof and adjustable by a rotary drive unit. A double-acting freewheel is disposed in a driving path between the rotary drive unit and the actuating element and configured to assume a release position in which the driving path is enabled for transmission of a driving torque from the rotary drive unit onto the actuating element, and to assume a locking position in which a locking torque is generated in opposition to a reaction torque directed from the actuating element to the rotary drive unit. The freewheel is constructed to open in the presence of the driving torque generated by the rotary drive unit and closes in the presence of the reaction torque generated by the actuating element.

Device for camber and/or toe adjustment of a vehicle wheel

A steering stop for a steer-by-wire steering system, includes a steering shaft for functionally connecting to a steering wheel, wherein a pressure chamber is provided for each direction of rotation of the steering shaft. A rotation of the steering shaft produces a reduction in the volume of a corresponding pressure chamber, and the steering stop also comprises a hydraulic valve such that resistance against a further rotation of the steering shaft is generated by the operation of said hydraulic valve when predetermined environmental conditions are met.

An occupant protection device for a vehicle includes an airbag module arranged in a hub region of a vehicle steering wheel used for steering vehicle wheels about a steering angle when the steering wheel is turned to a rotary position. The airbag module has an airbag configured for deployment between a driver and the steering wheel in the event of a crash. An adjustment unit is provided to turn the steering wheel from the rotary position to a crash position while the steering angle of the vehicle wheels remains unchanged so as to align the airbag with a posture of the driver in the event of a crash.

Occupant protection device for a vehicle

A limiting device for the steering angle input in an electrical steering system includes a gearing that is arranged on a steering shaft to enable for a threaded piece an adjustment path corresponding to the maximum permissible number of revolutions of the steering wheel, and steering stops for limiting the adjustment path of the threaded piece. A motor-driven drive mechanism is provided for the steering stops, by which the steering stops can be moved uniformly towards or away from one another.

Limiting device for the steering angle input in an electrical steering system

A roof rack assembly for a motor vehicle includes roof rails having a recess and constructed to be fastened on a vehicle roof of the motor vehicle. A load carrier to be installed on the roof rails has a mounting projection engaging with the roof rails through the recess when the load carrier is installed and cooperating with a mounting receptacle for retaining the load carrier. The recess is closed by a cover when the load carrier is not installed, with a detection device detecting a cover state of the recess. A method for operating a controller of a motor vehicle and a corresponding controller are also described.
