A brush head, particularly a toothbrush head, may have a plurality of cleaning elements, in particular bristle tufts, which are anchored by an end section in a brush carrier, wherein the cleaning elements may be cast with positive engagement in blind-hole shaped retaining recesses. For producing such a brush head different cleaning elements, such as bristle tufts may be fused by heat and may be placed in a mold cavity to be over-molded.

A brush head, particularly a toothbrush head, may have a plurality of cleaning elements, in particular bristle tufts, which are anchored by an end section in a brush carrier, wherein the cleaning elements may be cast with positive engagement in blind-hole shaped retaining recesses. For producing such a brush head different cleaning elements may be placed successively or simultaneously in different mold cavities and may be over-molded using different plastic materials from which injection-molding sections of the bristle carrier are formed in the process. In doing so, a first cleaning element is over-molded in a first mold cavity using a first plastic material, while a second cleaning element is over-molded in a second mold cavity using a second plastic material.

A transfer system for manufacturing molded parts of plastic by means of a plastic injection device is provided. The transfer system includes, a mold which can be opened via a mold separating surface; first and second injection stations formed in the mold; and a plurality of mold bars which are compatible with first and second injection stations. The pre-molded parts are manufactured in the first injection station and initially remain on the corresponding mold bar before being brought into the second injection station for molding a second workpiece section onto the pre-molded parts.

The invention relates to a device for dental and/or oral care, especially a tooth brush, comprising a preferably rod-shaped tool support to which a cleaning tool, especially a bristle field, can be fastened. The tool support is configured as a composite body that comprises an enveloping body from a first material, preferably plastic material, and a functional body from a second material, preferably metal, which is embedded in the enveloping body. The dental and/or oral care device is characterized in that the functional body is configured in at least some sections thereof as a trelliswork girder frame that has longitudinal girders substantially extending in the longitudinal direction of the tool support and a plurality of cross-girders. The enveloping body is especially transparent so that the functional body is visible through the enveloping body.

A toothbrush having a handle portion and a neck portion connecting the handle portion with a head. The head has a brushing side and a rear side. The brushing side includes a plurality of bristle tufts for cleaning the teeth. The tufts are attachable in the head through tufting apertures, with each tufting aperture being assigned a blind-end hole having sidewalls and a bottom. The cross-sectional area of the head between a first bottom and the rear side differing from a cross-sectional area of the head between a second bottom and the rear side. The first bottom and the second bottom are arranged in the head in such a way that the minimum distance between the first bottom and the rear side as well as the minimum distance between the second bottom and the rear side are each in the range of between about 0.5 and about 2.5 mm.
