The invention relates to polymorphic forms of the calcium salt of N-(3-carboxyl-1-oxopropyl)-(4S)-(p-phenylphenylmethyl)-4-amino-(2R)-methyl butanoic acid ethyl ester. The calcium salt of N-(3-carboxyl-1-oxopropyl)-(4S)-(p-phenylphenylmethyl)-4-amino-(2R)-methyl butanoic acid ethyl ester is useful in the treatment of various conditions and disorders responsive to the inhibition of neutral endopeptidases.

The present invention relates to the field of pharmacy, particularly to a pharmaceutical composition for oral administration comprising an (a) inert substrate and a (b) mixture comprising a non-bile acid farnesoid X receptor (FXR) agonist, such as 2-[(1R,3r,5S)-3-({5-cyclopropyl-3-[2-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]-1,2-oxazol-4-yl}methoxy)-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-8-yl]-4-fluoro-1,3-benzothiazole-6-carboxylic acid, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and at least one binder. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing said pharmaceutical composition for oral administration; and to the use of said pharmaceutical composition in the manufacture of a medicament.

Pharmaceutical composition

The present invention relates to a novel crystalline anhydrous form of [(5-chlorothiophene-2-ylsulfonylcarbamoyl)-(4-(6-fluoro-7-(methylamino)-2,4-dioxo-1,2-dihydroquinazolin-3(4H)-yl)phenyl)amide, potassium salt, and its use in the treatment or prevention of a condition or a disorder with platelet ADP receptor inhibition, in particular, P2Yinhibition, in animals, particularly humans. It also relates processes for making such a novel crystalline form. The present invention also relates to a solid, oral formulation of this novel crystalline form, its preparation and use thereof.

The present invention relates to a method of preparing N-substituted salicylamides or derivatives thereof, and their salts, hydrates and solvates. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of preparing N-(5-chlorosalicyloyl)-8-aminocaprylic acid (5-CNAC) and its corresponding disodium monohydrate.

Manufacture process of organic compounds

Connecting the two band endsof a hose clamp is done by means of a guide hookdisposed on an inner band portion and engaging a guide hook receiving meanson the outer band end, and a support hookalso formed on the inner band portion and engaging a support hook receiving meanson the outer band portion. Manufacture process

A clamping ring is used to mount an air bag gas generator cartridge on a support plate. A tensioning ear is formed in the clamping ring. Further, a wave is formed in the ring to increase the holding force between the ring and the cartridge. The wave consists of two convex arches projecting outward from the ring and an inward convex arch therebetween, the apex of the inward arch being at least tangential to the circle defined by the remaining portions of the ring in the initial condition of the ring. This type of clamping ring mounting is capable of withstanding torques between the cartridge and the support plate of well above 10 Nm.

A plug-in safety coupling for pressure pipes consists of a coupler box with a blocking member pivotally mounted therein. The latter has a diametrical through bore in which a plug can be inserted, in a depressurized state, at an acute to a right angle to the conducting position. The blocking member can be brought into the conducting position by pivoting the plug. A cupped locking sleeve shaving a hemispherical front end is placed over the coupler box with the pivoting member. This hemispherical front end comprises a spherically extending oblong hole that extends along a great circle on the hemispherical end from the center thereof. The locking sleeve is rotatably mounted on the coupler box and is biased by a spring to such an extent that its oblong hole extends with an offset by 90&#xb0; relative to the pivoting plane of the blocking member of the plug. Only when the locking sleeve is pivoted, a plug can be inserted. Once the plug is pivoted into the conducting position, the locking sleeve, by the force of the spring, is pivoted by 90&#xb0; and secures the plug from pivoting back.

The invention relates to a retaining clamp () for securing objects, in particular gas storage cylinders () for airbags, having a clamping ring () which encircles the object and engages around the object in a clamping manner in particular by means of mechanical deformation upon installation (clamping means) and, in the process, bears with at least one contact surface () against the object, the contact surface () being provided at least in some regions with a roughening () which improves the retaining effect between the retaining clamp () and the object, and/or having a clamping securing bolt (press-in screw) which extends through an opening () of the clamping ring () and has a head () lying in the interior of the clamping ring (), the head () having at least one rotation-preventing edge () which is arranged opposite the inside () of the clamping ring () in order to prevent rotation of the clamping securing bolt (press-in screw).

Retaining clamp

In a rapid coupling, an end section of a pipe nipple engages in a throughhole of a sleeve. A groove provided on the pipe nipple serves to engage a resilient locking ring formed in the sleeve in order to lock the coupled state. The locking ring is located in an annular recess formed close to the insertion end of the sleeve. If the pipe nipple is not inserted into the bush to such an extent that the locking ring latches in the groove, the pipe nipple is pushed outward by a compression spring provided in the throughhole of the sleeve, so that the groove is readily visible outside the sleeve. The groove thus serves not only for locking in the properly coupled state but also as an indicator for indicating a state which is not properly coupled.

Rapid coupling

A hose clamp for limited diameters, in the form of an open band ring having overlapping band ends, is manufactured from the band material of an insert as is used in conventional hose clamps for bridging an ear gap, such insert being typically made of steel according to DIN 1.4310 having a thickness of 0.3 mm. An opening is provided near one band end and a hook for engaging the opening is provided near the other band end. For closing this hose clamp, a gripper-type tool is used, the two jaws of which, in the closed condition, constitute an essentially uninterrupted inner surface having a diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the closed hose clamp.

The invention relates to a device for pneumatically operating a tool which can be driven by means of pressure, such especially, pneumatic pliers. The device has a cylinder comprising one or more pneumatically operated, nonpositively fitted pistons arranged in a row, for generating a translatory force. The respective piston rods of the pistons are sealed against the preceding piston and guided in cylinder covers by means of a seal, such as a lip seal. Components such as a wedge piston are functionally connected to the pistons, said wedge piston being coupled to a cuneiform wedge, for transferring the translatory force and for operating the tool. The pistons are supported by at least one piston guidance strip, in the direction against the inner wall of the cylinder.

In an open hose clamp with overlapping band ends, the outer band part comprises, starting from its end, an opening, an undulation, an Oetiker ear, an aperture, and a hook, while the inner band part comprises, starting from its end, a hook for engagement in the opening, a smooth area spanning the undulation and the ear, and a tongue with an attachment which passes through the aperture. The attachment serves to guide the tongue in the aperture and thus to ensure correct mutual positioning of the two band parts, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the band, in addition to securing the hose clamp in the engaged state, and cooperating with the hook provided on the outer band part for opening the tightened clamp.
