A hand-guided power tool has an internal combustion engine that is arranged in a power tool housing and drives a tool member of the power tool. A fuel tank and at least one electric component are provided. A control device that is an electronic control unit is connected to the at least one electric component and controls the at least one electric component. The power tool has a top face which, when parking the power tool in a usual parking position on a flat horizontal support surface, is facing upwardly. The electronic control unit has a plug contact and a connecting plug is plugged into the plug contact. The connecting plug is connected by a connecting line to the at least one electric component. The connecting plug is arranged on a top side of the control device which is facing upwardly in the usual parking position of the power tool.

Hand-guided power tool with a control device

A handheld work apparatus has a combustion engine for driving a tool of the work apparatus and further has an air filter unit for filtering the intake air of the combustion engine. The work apparatus defines a vertical direction. The air filter unit includes an air filter and a filter housing enclosing the air filter. The air filter extends along a filter axis and has a filter element disposed peripherally around the filter axis, wherein the filter axis forms an angle of inclination (&#x3b1;) with the vertical direction. The filter element has an upper filter section in relation to the vertical direction. The filter housing has, remotely from the upper filter section, at least one air intake window and, in addition thereto, a further upper, permanently open cold air intake window in the region of the upper filter section.

Handheld work apparatus

A handheld work apparatus has a combustion engine with a cylinder. A removable cover is fixed via a closure. The closure includes a tensioning element rotatable about a rotational axis and, in the locked position of the closure, is supported on a tension contour. The closure has a damping element. The damping element is held on a section of the cylinder in the axial direction of the rotational axis. During rotation from unlocked into locked position, the tensioning element is moved by the tension contour in the axial direction of the rotational axis. In the locked position of the closure, the tensioning element clamps the section of the cylinder in the axial direction of the rotational axis between a first abutment and a second abutment of the damping element. In the unlocked position of the closure, the tensioning element is held on the damping element on the cylinder.

A hand-guided power tool has a power tool housing and an internal combustion engine arranged in the power tool housing and configured to drive a tool member of the power tool. A fuel tank and at least one electric component are provided. A control device that is an electronic control unit is connected to the at least one electric component of the power tool and controls the at least one electric component. The power tool has a top face which, when parking the power tool in a usual parking position on a flat horizontal support surface, is facing upwardly. The electronic control unit is positioned laterally adjacent to the fuel tank device, when viewing the power tool in the usual parking position.

A power tool has guide bar guiding a saw chain. A drive motor with a sprocket drives the saw chain. A sprocket compartment of the power tool housing has a peripheral wall adjacent to a roof of the saw chain and an ejection opening for cut material. The guide bar has a longitudinal center axis intersecting the saw chain in first and second deflection areas at the sprocket and the nose of the guide bar. The sprocket compartment has an exit opening where the saw chain exits. The peripheral wall of the sprocket compartment and the roof of the saw chain are disposed at a spacing relative to each other that, when the saw chain is standing still, is less than approximately 18 mm at least across 50% of a stretch from the first deflection area to the exit opening and across an entire saw chain width.

A handheld work apparatus includes a drive motor () to drive a tool and at least one handle () as well as at least one anti-vibration element () that includes a coil spring (). The coil spring () is operatively connected to the handle () at one end and with the drive motor () at the other end. The anti-vibration element has a tear-off guard () which extends through the anti-vibration element (). A centering element () is arranged on the tear-off guard () to avoid, in a simple manner, that the tear-off guard moves radially outwards.

An internal combustion engine has a cylinder () and a crankcase (). A combustion chamber () is formed in the cylinder () and is delimited by a piston (). The piston () rotationally drives a crankshaft () in a rotational direction () via a connecting rod (). The crankshaft () is arranged in a crankcase interior space (). A mixture inlet () is provided in the crankcase interior space (). In the crankcase interior space (), at least one flow conducting element () is provided which is spatially fixed and this flow conducting element projects into the crankcase interior space () and lies opposite to the rotational direction () of the crankshaft ().

Internal combustion engine

A starter device for an internal combustion engine () has an actuating device and an entrainer () can be coupled to the crankshaft () of the engine (). The entrainer () and the actuating device are rotatably journalled about a rotational axis (). The entrainer () and the actuating device are connected to each other via a damping spring (). The damping spring () is connected with a first end () to the actuating device and with a second end () to the entrainer (). The entrainer () and the actuating device have respective supports (). The damping spring () is mounted on the outer periphery of the two supports (). In the direction of the rotational axis (), a disc () is mounted between the two supports () in order to avoid the situation that the damping spring () can force itself into a gap between the two supports () which gap can arise during operation.

Starter apparatus for an internal combustion engine

A starter device for an internal combustion engine has a drive element and a output element. The drive element enables driving the starter device in rotation. The output element is supported rotatably about an axis of rotation and has a coupling device for releasably coupling the starter device to the crankshaft. A coil spring is arranged operatively between drive element and output element in an axial direction between a first abutment at the drive element and a second abutment at the output element. The first and second abutments have a first spacing relative to one another at least at one circumferential location in a first area and a second spacing relative to one another in a second area. The first and second spacing are measured parallel to the axis of rotation. The first spacing is smaller than the second spacing. The first area is radially outside of the second area.
