A vinyl ester produced by reacting at least one epoxide compound with at least on carboxylic anhydride, containing ethylenically unsaturated groups, the epoxide groups being substantially substituted by two vinyl ester groups.

A coating material crosslinkable by radiation comprising a) an olefinic unsaturated ester of an epoxy novolac resin, b) a binder formed by reaction of an epoxy compound having more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxy groups per carboxyl group of 1:0.5 to 0.9 and subsequent reaction of the resulting reaction product with at least one unsaturated isocyanate ester formed by reaction of a compound with at least two isocyanate groups with a member of the group consisting of hydroxyl containing acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and cyanacrylic acid esters, c) at least one latent hardener, d) at least one photoinitiator e) 80-120% by weight of fillers and (f) additives, adjuvants and solvents and protective films formed with them.

Coating materials containing a reaction product of an epoxy novolak

An epoxy resin adhesive, sealing or coating composition containing as a curing agent an addition product of A) at least one member of the group consisting of primary amines and secondary amines and B) at least one ester having a formula selected from the group consisting of ##STR1## wherein m is 0 or 1, n is an integer from 3 to 25, 0 is an integer from 1 to 20, p is an integer from 1 to 10, R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of furyl, phenyl and hydrogen, R.sub.2 is hydrogen or methyl R.sub.3 is ##STR2## R.sub.5 is methylene or --CH.sub.2 --CH--CH.sub.2 --R.sub.6 --CH.sub.2 --. R.sub.6 is selected from the group consisting of ##STR3## R.sub.7 is selected from the group consisting of methylene, ##STR4## and R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 are individually ethylene or propylene.

Amine-unsaturated epoxidized polysulfide addition products

Binder mixtures crosslinkable by radiation comprising as component A a product obtained by reaction of an epoxy compound with more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxide groups to carboxyl groups of 1:0.5-0.9 and subsequent reaction of the reaction product with at least one unsaturated isocyanatocarbamate esters and as component B a product obtained by reaction of an epoxy compound with more than one epoxide group per molecule with at least one olefinic unsaturated carboxylic acid in a molar ratio of epoxide groups to carboxyl groups of 1:&gt;&gt;1 and subsequent reaction of the reaction product with at least one polybasic carboxylic acid or anhydride(s) thereof, components A and B being present in a weight ratio of 3:1 to 1:3 useful for the product of superior photo-resists and protective lacquers.

Binder mixtures crosslinkable by radiation

Radiation cross-linkable binding agents formed by reacting first an epoxy component with more than one epoxy group per molecule with at least one carboxylic acid in a molar ratio 1 of epoxy group per 0.5 to 0.9 carboxyl groups and second reacting the said first reaction product with at least one unsaturated isocyanato carbamate ester prepared by reacting a compound containing at least two isocyanate groups with an ester of an acid selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and cyanacrylic acid containing hydroxyl groups useful in electronics and electrotechnology for layering systems and cast resin materials.

Radiation cross-linkable binding agents

Storage stable, heat curable mixtures obtained from epoxy resins as a binder system containing latent hardening agents as well as fillers and additive materials which have outstanding mechanical and electrical properties and which are obtained as epoxy resin components of an adduct of a high molecular solid epoxy resin and 4,4'-diaminodiarylalkane in a molecular ratio of 1:0.01 to 0.05. The preferred economical curing agent is a phenol formaldehyde condensation product.
