A dishwasher having a washing container, a sorption dryer device connected to the washing container in an air-conducting fashion, and at least one flow-conditioning device to homogenize a flow cross-section profile of an airflow as the airflow flows through the sorption dryer device. The flow-conditioning device is provided for the sorption unit between at least one heating element and the sorption unit of the sorption dryer device when viewed in the direction of the airflow such that essentially every point of an intake cross-section area of the sorption unit of the sorption dryer device is permeated by a volumetric airflow with essentially the same intake temperature.

Dishwasher with sorption dryer device

A dishwasher is provided that includes a washing compartment and a sorption drying system to dry items to be washed, wherein the sorption drying system has a sorption container that contains reversibly dehydratable sorption material. The dishwasher further includes an air ducting channel to connect the sorption container with the washing compartment in order to generate an air flow. The air ducting channel has an inlet-side tube section and the sorption container and/or the inlet-side tube section has flow conditioning elements. Each flow conditioning elements has an air passage such that, to a large extent, an equalization of a local cross-sectional profile of an air flow is effected when air flows through the sorption container in a throughflow direction of the sorption container.

Further, the sorption container is arranged beneath the base of the washing container in a substantially freely-suspended manner such that, for heat protection, the sorption container has a predefined minimum gap distance in relation to neighboring components and/or neighboring parts of the base module.

Dishwasher comprising a sorption drying unit

A dishwasher is provided that includes a washing container; a spray device accommodated in the washing container; an air-guiding channel to generate an air flow; and a sorption drying system to dry items to be washed. The sorption drying system has a sorption container with reversibly dehydratable sorption material, wherein the sorption container is connected to the washing container by the air-guiding channel and wherein the sorption container has an outflow opening. The dishwasher further includes an outflow device that is connected to the outflow opening of the sorption container and arranged in the interior of the washing container such that air blown out from the outflow device is substantially directed away from the spray device.
