A laser system has an output/input coupler unit () with a circulator (). An output of the circulator () is operationally connected to a detector unit (). The input/output (EA) of the circulator is operationally connected to a transmitter and a receiver optics. Laser light is input to the circulator (E). The input (E), output (A) and output/input (EA) of the circulator are optical fibers. The pulsed diode () is not temperature stabilized. To reduce amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) generated in the optical fiber amplifier (), a narrow band-pass filter unit () is used. Filter unit () has a central wavelength with a temperature dependence which is matched to the temperature dependent wavelength shift of the pulsed diode ().

Not temperature stabilized pulsed laser diode and all fibre power amplifier

A laser-system comprises master-oscillator/power-amplifier () whereby the master-oscillator comprises a pulsed diode () and a pumped active optical fiber power-amplifier (). Substantially all guides of laser light () are optical fibers. The pulsed diode () is not temperature stabilized. To reduce nevertheless amplified spontaneous emission generated in the optical fiber amplifier (), a narrow band-pass filter unit () is used. Filter unit () has a central wavelength with a temperature dependence which is matched to the temperature dependent wavelength shift of the pulsed diode ().

Laser-system

A device for the magnified viewing of an object, from which object rays originate, includes a lens system () for collecting object rays. In one embodiment of the invention, the device includes: a display () from which display rays () originate, and; a left eyepiece () and a right eyepiece (), via which a left-eye and right-eye beam (and) of visual field rays are projected into the left and right eye of a user of the device. According to this inventive embodiment, an optical component () is provided with a physical ray distributing surface () on which a beam of collected object rays () and a beam of display rays () can be superimposed and can be divided up into the left-eye beam and right-eye beam () of the visual field rays. This enables a reduction in losses of display rays and object rays.

Devices for the magnified viewing of an object

Laser light (&#x3bb;) within a spectrum range is generated () and filtered (). Thereby the spectral location of the filter characteristic (&#x3bb;) is shifted in a controlled manner () to establish a desired characteristic of output laser light as for considering a temperature depended shift (&#x394;&#xd1;) of the spectrum range generated by the laser source ().
