A method for producing a device including a deposition of a first resin layer of lithography above or on a protective layer such that the protective layer is included between a conductive layer and the first resin layer; a first lithography of the first resin layer, the protective layer and the conductive layer; preserving, in at least one preserving area of the first lithography, the superposition of the first resin layer, the protective layer and the conductive layer, and depositing, at least on the at least one preserving area of the first lithography, a second resin layer of lithography without removing the first resin layer; a second lithography of the second resin and the first resin, in particular for the production of electrodes. One of the possible aims is to obtain a device without introducing an impurity into the conductive layer.

Lithography production method

A method for investigating intra- and/or intermolecular interactions involving RNA is provided. The method includes a) synthesizing a RNA/DNA heteroduplex (RDH) comprising a RNA strand of interest paired to a DNA strand; b) binding a first end of the DNA strand and a corresponding first end of the RNA strand to a first element of a nanoscale manipulating device, and a second end of the DNA strand to a second element of the nanoscale manipulating device, leaving a second end of the RNA strand free; c) moving the first and second elements of the manipulating device apart from each other, stretching the DNA strand and causing the RNA strand to peel off the heteroduplex; and d) moving the first and second elements of the nanoscale manipulating device towards each other, allowing the DNA strand to relax and causing the RNA strand to bind again to it. Measurement of a force-displacement relationship during steps c) and d) provides information on intra- and/or intermolecular interactions involving the RNA strand. Also provided is an apparatus for carrying out the method.

Method and apparatus for investigating intra- and/or intermolecular interactions involving RNA

The present invention concerns a method of detecting macroions in a liquid medium contained in a space, the method including: a) submitting the liquid medium to a stimulating electrical field to induce formation of aggregates of macroions, the formed aggregates of macroions preferably not including any additional labeling agent, and b) measuring, in a detection zone of the space, spatial and/or temporal fluctuations within the liquid medium of at least one variable depending on the concentration of the macroions in the liquid medium, and c) determining, based on these fluctuations, the presence of the macroions, step c) preferably including processing by a time-dependent or space dependent analysis, more preferably by wavelet analysis, or by autocorrelation the fluctuations measured at step b).

The present invention relates to a method for detecting a circularized single-stranded DNA by means of the isothermal hyperbranched rolling circle amplification technique, in which the primers used comprise a detectable barcode sequence and, optionally, a spacer which blocks polymerization by DNA polymerase. The present invention also relates to the use of said method for detecting a genetic polymorphism of one or more base pair(s).

Experimental studies of single molecule mechanics require high force sensitivity and low drift, which can be achieved with optical tweezers through an optical tweezers apparatus for force measurements. A CW infrared laser beam is split by polarization and focused by a high numerical aperture objective to create two traps. The same laser is used to form both traps and to measure the force by back focal plane interferometry. Although the two beams entering the microscope are designed to exhibit orthogonal polarization, interference and a significant parasitic force signal occur. Comparing the experimental results with a ray optics model, the interference patterns are caused by the rotation of polarization on microscope lens surfaces and slides. Two methods for reducing the crosstalk are directed to polarization rectification by passing through the microscope twice and frequency shifting of one of the split laser beams.
