A lamp base includes a housing for at least partial accommodation of a carrier for a light source. Two mutually-opposing guide rails are provided in the housing for the form-fitted insertion of the carrier. The technology is particularly applicable to carriers with LEDs as light sources and addresses problems with adhesive or soldered attachment of the light source carrier.

Integrated light source driver

A lighting system comprising an electric lamp (), especially a fluorescent lamp, which is provided with a first () and at least one second lamp coil (). The lighting system further comprises an electronic ballast () that is electrically connected to the lamp coils () and at least two additional light sources (toto) which are interconnected in parallel. The parallel connection () of the two additional light sources (toto) are serially connected between the first () and the second lamp coil ().

The invention relates to a lamp with a first light source generating white light, comprising at least one fluorescent lamp () or an incandescent lamp, as well as a second light source comprising at least one set of light-emitting diodes (), and comprising a reflector () for the light emitted by the light sources, wherein a cooling device () for the at least one set of light-emitting diodes () is attached to the reflector () and is thermally linked to the at least one set of light-emitting diodes (), and wherein the lamp comprises a translucent and light-dispersing medium () in the optical path of the light emitted by the lamp.
