A shielding component, in particular a heat shield, includes shield components () made flat, lying at least partially on top of one another, and connected to one another at least partially along at least one common connecting line (). Since the shield components () at least partially form a gasket () by at least one shield component () having a projection relative to its remaining superficial extent, a further function in the form of a sealing function is implemented in a heat shield for acoustic and heat insulation.

Shielding component, in particular a heat shield

A shielding component, in particular a heat shield, has shield components () which are made flat, which lie at least partially on top of one another, and which are connected to one another at least partially along at least one common connecting line (). Along the common connecting line (), at least one shield component () encompassing another shield component () in an overlap (). Within the overlap (), the shield components () are held at least partially by frictional engagement so as to be displaceable against one another relative to a compensation distance. A rigid connection of the shield components with their individual layers is avoided. Rather, depending on the thermal situation, they can mutually slide off one another.

Flat gasket with a gasket plate comprising at least one sheet metal layer, in which fluid passage openings, screw holes adjacent to these and elastically deformable sealing elements enclosing the fluid passage openings are formed. On the one hand, to impede as little as possible sliding movements of the components to be arranged on either side of the flat gasket relative to one another and to the flat gasket, and, on the other hand, to create a fixed point for the assembled flat gasket, the flat gasket is designed such that the gasket plate has for at least a first one of its fluid passage openings in the area of a screw hole adjacent to this opening a spring element which is capable of elastic deformation perpendicularly to the gasket plate, and that the gasket plate has for at least a second one of its fluid passage openings adjacent thereto a screw hole which is without a spring element.
