An interference signal measuring facility is in a differential voltage measuring system with a signal measuring circuit for measuring bioelectric signals with a number of useful signal paths, each with a sensor electrode. In an embodiment, the interference signal measuring facility has an additional sensor lead for each sensor electrode each of which is electrically connected to a ground connection of a supply lead of a sensor electrode; and a measuring amplifier circuit, for each sensor electrode connected to the additional sensor lead via an electrical resistor, configured to detect a change in electric potential occurring on the sensor lead and to determine an electrode reference interference signal therefrom. Also described is an interference signal compensation facility; a differential voltage measuring system; and a method for generation an interference-reduced biological measurement signal are described.

An electrode for producing electrical contact with skin is provided. The electrode includes a first electrical connection, a second electrical connection that is electrically insulated from the first electrical connection, and a skin contact. The skin contact has a first contact region that is electrically coupled to the first electrical connection, and a second contact region that is electrically insulated from the first contact region and is electrically coupled to the second electrical connection. The skin contact is configured to produce electrical contact between the skin and the skin contact when the electrode is in a state placed on the skin.

Reduction of magnetic field-induced interferences when measuring bioelectric signals

A detection apparatus is for detecting interference on signal paths in a differential voltage measuring system with a signal measuring circuit for measuring bioelectric signals with a number of useful signal paths having at least one shield. In an embodiment, the detection apparatus includes at least one analysis unit, connected to the shield and embodied to detect interference in a useful signal path of the voltage measuring system via a signal measured at the shield in the case of interference.

Detection of signal path defects when measuring bioelectric signals

Methods, noise detection devices, and differential voltage measuring systems are provided for detecting noise signals for the purpose of measuring cardiac movements in a patient. In the method, contact is made with the patient by at least two measuring electrodes having at least one associated measuring channel. Furthermore, a heartbeat measurement is performed. During the heartbeat measurement, signals from the patient are detected over the at least one measuring channel. Then, a check is made of whether the detected signals have been caused by noise by comparing the detected signals with at least one heartbeat type that was identified in the course of the learning procedure.

A method is for determining electrode status information relating to an electrode in a differential voltage measuring system for measuring a bioelectric signal, the electrode status information indicating whether the electrode is connected or not connected. Rejection of the common-mode signal component in the measurement of bioelectric signals

A differential voltage measuring system includes two electrodes that are connected to a patient at an input and make available a respective measurement contact at an output. A shunt resistor is connected in series with the second electrode. A first amplifier circuit has a first input for a first signal from the first electrode, a second input for a second signal from the second electrode, and an output. A second amplifier circuit has a first input that is connected in series with the shunt resistor, a second input that is connected in parallel with the shunt resistor, and an output. A first signal detection unit is provided at the output of the first amplifier circuit, and a second signal detection unit is provided at the output of the second amplifier circuit. The second signal detection unit detects the signal from the second amplifier circuit as a measurement variable.
