A device for producing a twisted yarn in a combined spinning and twisting process has two open end spinning rotors positioned in a stationary protective pot, a hollow spindle axle into which the spun yarns produced by the spinning rotors are introduced, and a yarn guide channel extending radially from the spindle axle and driven in rotation about the spindle axis for guiding the yarn formed by the spun yarns. The yarn exits from the yarn guide channel and is guided external to the protective pot counter to the guiding direction within the spindle axle to a centering point positioned on an extension of the spindle axle. A device for supplying a dissolved fiber material to the two open end spinning rotors is provided. Two slide bearings for supporting the spinning rotor shafts, an electric motor with a drive member resting at the spinning rotor shafts, and for each spinning rotor two guide rollers are arranged within the protective pot. Each pair of guide rollers forms a wedge-shaped gap in which the respective spinning rotor shaft rests. For each spinning rotor shaft the rotational axes of the motor and of the correlated guide rollers determine an isosceles triangle, whereby the bisecting line intercepting the rotational axis of the motor is positioned within the center plane of the wedge-shaped gap.

Device for producing a twisted yarn in a combined spinning and twisting

A method for continuously producing a twisted yarn with minimal curling tendency includes the steps of spinning a yarn and directly thereafter, within a time period of less than one second, twisting the yarn. The yarn tension at the end of the spinning step can be adjusted to be essentially the same as the yarn tension at the end of the twisting step, or, in the alternative, the yarn tension at the end of the twisting step is greater than 70% of the yarn tension at the end of the spinning step.

Method for continuosly producing a twisted yard with minimal curling

In a method for manufacturing a twisted yarn a spindle rotor is positioned in a stationary cylinder housing. At least two spinning devices are supported in a receiving chamber of the spindle rotor such that the spinning devices are located adjacent to one another and symmetrical to the central axis of the spindle rotor. A vacuum is generated within the receiving chamber. Dissolved fiber material is supplied from a fiber supply device to the hollow spindle axle of the spindle rotor. The individual fiber material is fed by the vacuum within the receiving chamber via the hollow spindle axle 6 of the spindle rotor 7 and via feed channels, connecting the hollow spindle axle to the spinning rotors, to the spinning devices. From the dissolved fiber materials spun yarns are spun in each one of the spinning devices. The spun yarns are gathered as a twisted yarn at a centering point positioned on the extension of the central axis of the spindle rotor. The twisted yarn is wound onto a spool.

Method and device for directly manufacturing a twisted yarn from

In a method for manufacturing a twisted yarn by an integrated spinning-twisting process a vacuum is generated within the spindle rotor. Individual staple fibers are fed by vacuum to at least two rotor spinning devices positioned within the spindle rotor in which individual spun yarns are spun from the individual staple fibers. The individual spun yarns are gathered and guided in a first direction through the spindle rotor in order to subject the individual spun yarns to a first twist. The twisted yarn is guided in a second direction counter to the first direction to a centering element positioned above the rotor spinning devices whereby the twisted yarn forms a rotating yarn balloon about the spindle rotor. The twisted yarn is then wound onto a bobbin. Feeding of the individual staple fibers includes supplying them essentially in a radially inward direction through a fiber material feed tube to an annular space, positioned at the spindle rotor coaxially to a central axis of the yarn balloon, and from the annular space through respective fiber material supply channels to the at least two rotor spinning devices. The envelope of the yarn balloon extends through the annular space and the individual staple fibers pass through the yarn balloon. In the step of guiding the twisted yarn in a second direction counter to the first direction the twisted yarn is routed through a yarn guide element rotating with the yarn balloon.

Method and device for manufacturing a twisted yarn in an integrated

In a method for joining a thread a spindle rotor with hollow spindle shaft is rotatably supported on a machine frame. A radially outwardly extending yarn guide channel is connected to the hollow spindle shaft. Two spinning devices with upwardly open spinning rotors are supported above the spindle rotor symmetrical to the central axis of the spindle rotor. A centering point is positioned on an extension of the central axis of the spindle rotor. A spun yarn is spun in each spinning device from dissolved fiber material and led upwardly away from the spinning rotors, reversed in their direction of movement by 180.degree., and introduced into the hollow spindle axle. The spun yarns form a yarn balloon between the yarn guide channel and the centering point, and twisted yarn is removed from the centering point. The dissolved fiber material is fed to the spinning devices through the yarn balloon. For each spinning rotor a joining thread is threaded with one end into the hollow spindle axle and with the other into the spinning rotor. A thread loop is generated from each joining thread between the and guided such that a first thread branch is fed into the spinning rotor and the second thread branch is removed through the hollow spindle axle until the thread loop is resolved, the direction of movement of the first thread branch is reversed, and the joining thread is removed through the hollow spindle axle.

A device for producing a twisted yarn has a spindle rotor with a hollow spindle axle connected to a vacuum source and also has a vacuum chamber connected to the hollow spindle axle. A fiber-dissolving device for producing individual staple fibers is provided. At least two spinning rotors are positioned in the vacuum chamber for spinning spun yarns from the individual staple fibers. A centering device is positioned above the spinning rotors on the axis of the hollow spindle axle. The spindle rotor has an annular channel for receiving the individual staple fibers from the fiber-dissolving device. The spindle rotor has supply channels connected between the annular channel and the spinning rotors for supplying the individual staple fibers from the annular channel to the spinning rotors. The spindle rotor has spun yarn removal channels for removing the spun yarns from the spinning rotors and for guiding the spun yarns to the centering device. A winding device for winding the twisted yarn, produced by the spindle rotor from the spun yarns and guided through the centering device, onto a bobbin is also provided.

Method and device for producing a twisted yarn

In a method and apparatus for manufacturing a yarn from fiber material at least two spinning devices arranged adjacent to one another are provided. Fiber material is dissolved and fed to the at least two spinning devices. Each spinning device generates an individual spun fiber. The individual spun fibers are combined at the inlet opening of a hollow spindle axis to form a yarn. The yarn undergoes a two-for-one twisting operation by being passed in a first yarn feeding direction through the hollow spindle axis to an outlet opening of the hollow spindle axis, then radially guided from the outlet opening, and guided in a second yarn feeding direction counter to the first yarn feeding direction to form a yarn balloon rotating in a direction of rotation about the at least two spinning devices. A centering element is arranged on an axis extending along the hollow spindle axle so as to be spaced from the inlet opening of the hollow spindle axle. The yarn is fed from the yarn balloon via the centering element to a winding device.

Method and device for manufacturing a twisted yarn

A spindle for manufacturing a yarn has a spindle body for receiving a fiber supply bobbin from which a fiber is removed radially outwardly to form a fiber balloon and guided to a centering point above the spindle body. A spindle rotor for rotating the spindle body has a central axis. A supply device for introducing a flowable medium into the space limited by the fiber balloon is provided. The supply device has an inlet line with an outlet opening. The inlet line has a section adjacent to the outlet opening extending at least directly upstream of the outlet opening coaxially or parallel to the central axis. At least a portion of the section is rotatable about the central axis and has a fiber guide tube comprising a first end that extends coaxially from the portion and a second end that extends radially from this portion.

A spindle for manufacturing yarns has a spindle rotor with a central axis. A fiber guide duct extends substantially from the central axis radially outwardly for guiding a first fiber radially outwardly. The first fiber, after exiting the fiber guide duct, is guided under formation of a fiber balloon to a centering point that is located on an extension of the central axis of the spindle rotor. At least one inlet line that extends substantially radially toward the fiber balloon is provided for introducing a flowable medium into a space limited by the fiber balloon.
