The diagnosis apparatus according to the invention for the picture providing recording of fluorescing biological tissue by way of an endoscope contains a stimulation light source which beams spectral components suitable for fluorescence stimulation into the tissue through the endoscope. The fluorescent light reflected by the tissue reaches through the endoscope optics into a head piece where it is split into a green, and spacially separated from this, a red spectral component and falls each on one half of a CCD solid body of a highly sensitive black and white camera. In an electronic and processor component the video signals allocated to the green and to the red spectral component are processed into two separate processing channels in a manner such that the separately processed green-red video signals are simultaneously inputted to a color video monitor and here may be superimposed to a red-green monitor picture, which may show changes of tissue indicating disease, for example dysplasia, carcinomas in situ etc., in all organs which are endoscopically accessible.

Diagnosis apparatus for the picture providing recording of fluorescing

The invention relates to a device for the photodynamic endoscopic diagnosis of human or animal tumor tissue with the help of a marker substance capable of fluorescence and with an endoscope and a light source. With this, means are provided in order to guide light from the light source via an endoscope to the diagnosis location in each case in one of at least two selectable spectral regions, that is in a white light region and in a region with blue-violet light, in order thus in each case to be able to carry out a visual examination with white light and stimulate a marker substance deposited in any tumor tissue to fluoresce. The means for selecting the light comprises an anti-fading filter which can be pivoted into the beam path of the white stimulation light on examination with white light and which filters out light, lying in spectral region stimulating fluorescence, from the white light. This anti-fading filter, together with other color filters may be mounted on a pivoting wing which can be selectively pivoted by the examining surgeon into the light path between the light source and the light guide cable, the pivoting wing being movable by way of a pivoting device.

Device for the photodynamic endoscopic diagnosis of tumor tissue

A device is disclosed for the disintegration of concretions in body cavities. The device comprises at least one piezoelectric transducer element, for connection to a generator. The transducer element is connected between a reflector and a horn. Ultrasonic waves generated by the transducer element are directed by means of a sonotrode, to a concretion to be destroyed. At least the horn is provided with surface depressions which do not run parallel to its axis of symemtry, for the generation of transverse and rotational oscillations.
