An exemplary method for providing a conductive material structure on a carrier generally includes applying a photo sensitive material on the carrier and applying a mask on the photo sensitive material. The mask defines a conductive material structure to be formed on the carrier. The method also includes irradiating the defined structure on the carrier in order to prepare for metallization, and metalizing the defined structure for forming the conductive material structure.

The present invention relates to a method of production of an antenna pattern having a predetermined general outline, with an ink jet printer, laser activation device or similar device. The device creates the antenna pattern with a plurality of empty inner portions within the general outline.

An electrical component is provided that provides at least a two shot injection molding structure. One of the at least two shots of plastic comprises a laser direct structuring material. Another of the at least two shots of plastic comprises a non-platable plastic. The laser direct structuring material is selectively activated such that a conductive trace can be plated on the laser direct structuring material.
