The invention concerns a method of operating a combustion plant comprising at least a first gas turbine (), a second turbine () and a membrane reactor device () which comprises a membrane filter device () for separating oxygen from a gas mixture and a combustion space (). A gas mixture containing oxygen is supplied to the membrane reactor device (). At least some oxygen is separated from the gas mixture with the help of the membrane filter device (). The separated oxygen is used at the combustion in the combustion space (). The oxygen-depleted gas that is obtained after the separation of oxygen and which has not gone through a combustion process is used to run the first gas turbine (). Combustion gases run the second turbine (). The invention also concerns a combustion plant for carrying out the method.

Method of operating a combustion plant and a combustion plant

The invention concerns a turbine arrangement comprising a gas turbine unit with a compressor (), a combustion chamber () and a turbine expander (). The turbine arrangement also has a first unit () for heat exchange and steam generation. This first unit () receives gas from the turbine expander (). The first unit () comprises a first and a second gas flow path which are at least partly separated from each other. A supplementary combustion unit () is arranged to heat the gas in said first gas flow path. Further included is a steam turbine circuit with a steam turbine () which is driven with steam generated with the help of the first unit (). A humidifying device () is arranged to add a liquid to a gas from the compressor () and a first conduit member () conducts humidified gas from the humidifying device () to the combustion chamber (). The first gas conduit member () is arranged such that heating of the humidified gas is done with the first unit (). The invention also concerns a method of operating a gas turbine arrangement.

Turbine arrangement and a method of operating a turbine arrangement

The invention relates to a method for producing hot working gases for a gas turbine system. In a burner, combustion that generates hot combustion waste gas takes place. A portion of the combustion waste gas branches off and feeds into an oxygen separation device. A heat exchanger produces a heated oxygen-containing gas from oxygen-containing gas. The heated oxygen-containing gas feeds to the oxygen separation device. The oxygen separation device includes an oxygen separation means that removes oxygen from the heated oxygen-containing gas and feeds it to the branched-off waste gas. Oxygen-reduced hot gas then leaves the oxygen separation device. Oxygen-enriched branched-off waste gas as well as fuel feed to the burner and form a combustion mixture that bums in the burner while forming the hot combustion waste gases. In order to improve the efficiency of the device, the oxygen-enriched branched-off waste gas heats the oxygen-containing gas.
