The present disclosure relates to an austenitic stainless alloy comprising in weight % (wt %): C less than 0.03; Si less than 1.0; Mn less than or equal to 1.2; Cr 26.0 to 30.0; Ni 29.0 to 37.0; Mo 6.1 to 7.1 or (Mo+W/2) 6.1 to 7.1; N 0.25 to 0.36; P less than or equal to 0.04; S less than or equal to 0.03; Cu less than or equal to 0.4; balance Fe and unavoidable impurities and to the use thereof and to products made thereof. Thus, the austenitic stainless alloy comprises a low content of manganese in combination with a high content of nitrogen. The present disclosure also relates to the use of said austenitic stainless alloy, especially in highly corrosive environments and to products made of thereof.

Disclosed is a Hot Isostatic Pressed ferritic-austenitic steel alloy, as well objects thereof. The elementary composition of the alloy comprises, in percentages by weight: the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. The objects can be particularly useful in making components for a urea production plant that require processing such as machining or drilling. A preferred use is in making, or replacing, liquid distributors as used in a stripper as is typically present in the high-pressure synthesis section of a urea plant.

The present disclosure relates to a powder of an austenitic alloy and a HIP:ed object manufactured thereof and a process for the manufacturing the HIP:ed object and its use in corrosive environments.

The elementary composition of the alloy comprises, in percentages by weight: C 0-0.05; Si 0-0.8; Mn 0-4.0; Cr more than 29-35; Ni 3.0-10; Mo 0-4.0; N 0.30-0.55; Cu 0-0.8; W 0-3.0; S 0-0.03; Ce 0-0.2; the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. A super-austenitic stainless steel alloy with a composition, balanced in such a way that products made from the alloy fulfill high requirements on a combination of high corrosion resistance, especially in inorganic and organic acids and mixtures thereof, good general corrosion resistance, good structure stability as well as improved mechanical properties in combination with good workability, in particular in tubes, especially seamless tubes and seam welded tubes for application in these environments and with following composition, in weight-percent: up to 2.0 of one or more element of the group Mg, Ce, Ca, B, La, Pr, Zr, Ti, Nd, and the balance being Fe and normally occurring impurities and steel making additions.
