A dental drill bit is combined with a surgical template provided with a guide hole adapted to guide the dental drill bit directly or via a guide sleeve provided in the guide hole. The dental drill bit has a first end, a second end, a spherical drill head arranged at the first end, and at least one helical flute extending from the spherical drill head towards the second end. The portion of the dental drill bit having the at least one helical flute is substantially cylindrical. A use of such a dental drill bit and a method of drilling a hole in an oblique bone surface of a jaw bone of a patient are also provided.

Certain embodiments of the invention relate to a method of manufacturing a dental bridge. In certain embodiments of the method, a pre-sintered blank made from a green body of ceramic material is subjected to a machining operation that transforms the blank into an intermediate product with a bridge structure and a support body linked to the bridge structure by one or several retaining sections that extend from the support body to the bridge structure. In certain embodiments, a sintering operation is then performed on the intermediate product while the retaining section(s) still link(s) the support body to the bridge structure.

Method and arrangement for forming a dental bridge

A device, kit, and method are provided for distracting bone. The device can comprise a bar and at least one connection interface. For example, the bar can comprise a first connection interface configured for releasable connection of the bar to at least one fixture inserted in a bone portion to be distracted. A second connection interface can be configured to connect the bar to a level adjustment device for distracting the bone portion.

Distraction device

An arrangement and method are provided for supplying material to production equipment for ceramic products. The arrangement comprises a first unit that can be at least partially surrounded by a second unit to which it is secured via its outer surface. The second unit can be designed so that it can be fed forward and divided by the production equipment. The first and second units can be arranged to facilitate silhouetting in at least the first unit and to facilitate the creation of at least one securing part between the first and second units. The securing part can comprise one of a combination of the material of the second unit with a joining material and a combination of the material of the first unit with the joining material.
