The present application relates to new, substituted benzyl-1,2,4-triazolones and phenylsulfonyl-1,2,4-triazolones, to processes for preparing them, to their use alone or in combinations for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases and also to their use for the production of medicaments for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases, more particularly for the treatment and/or prevention of cardiovascular disorders.

Methods of screening for potential therapeutics for diseases associated with G-protein coupled receptor HM74a

The present invention is directed to a polynucleotide sequence of a novel organic anion transporting (OAT)-like protein UST3-likel. More particularly, the present invention provides a polynucleotide sequence comprising the nucleic acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or nucleic acid sequences that hybridize to SEQ ID NO: 1 or its complimentary strand.
