The disclosure relates to a drive device for a vehicle axle, especially a rear axle, of a two-track vehicle, wherein the vehicle axle includes an axle differential, which can be connected at the input end to a primary drive machine and at the output end to flange shafts arranged on either side with vehicle wheels of the vehicle axle, wherein the vehicle axle is associated with a shiftable superimposing gear, which can be shifted to a torque distribution mode by a torque distribution shift element, in which a drive torque generated by an additional drive machine in a first load path can be coupled to one of the flange shafts in order to change a torque distribution on the two vehicle wheels, and the drive torque generated by the additional drive machine can be coupled to the input side of the axle differential in a second load path.

A drive device for a vehicle axle, in particular a rear axle, of a two-track vehicle, wherein the vehicle axle includes an axle differential, which is connectable on the input side to a primary drive machine and is connectable on the output side via flanged shafts arranged on both sides to vehicle wheels of the vehicle axle, wherein an additional drive machine and a shiftable superimposed transmission are associated with the vehicle axle, which transmission is shiftable into a torque distribution gear step, in which a drive torque generated by the additional drive machine is generated, in dependence on the dimension and rotational direction of which a torque distribution on the two vehicle wheels is changeable.

Drive unit for a motor vehicle, motor vehicle, and method for operating a motor vehicle

An active differential for the controlled distribution of a drive torque generated by a drive motor to two drive shafts includes a planetary gear train configured to couple the two drive shafts to a drive shaft of the drive motor, and a distributor motor including a distributor shaft. The distributor motor produces a torque, with a distribution of a drive torque to the two drive shafts being dependant on the torque produced by the distributor motor. The distributor shaft and the planetary gear train are coupled by a coupling device which only transmits a torque from the planetary gear train to the distributor shaft when a rotational speed difference between rotational speeds of the two output shafts exceeds a predetermined limit value and when a connection condition depending on an operating condition of the distributor motor is satisfied.

Active differential and motor vehicle

An active differential for the controlled distribution of a drive torque generated by a drive motor to two output shafts includes a planetary gear train configured to couple the two drive shafts to a drive shaft of the drive motor, and a distributor motor including a distributor shaft. The distributor motor produces a torque, with a distribution of a drive torque to the two output shafts being dependent on the torque produced by the distributor motor. The distributor shaft and the planetary gear train are coupled by a coupling device which is configured to separate the distributor shaft from the planetary gear train when an operating parameter of the active differential exceeds a predetermined limit value. The operating parameter can hereby be an output torque difference between torques transmitted from the output shafts to the planetary gear train or a time derivative of the output torque difference.

A motor vehicle, includes a drive motor for driving the motor vehicle, at least one additional motor and at least one differential for distributing a torque generated by the drive motor and transmitted by a drive shaft to a driven differential element of the differential to two output shafts. The motor vehicle includes a coupling device which can be controlled by a control device, and in a first coupling state directly or indirectly couples the additional motor with an output shaft, thereby rendering the distribution of the drive torque to the output shafts dependent on an additional torque exerted by the additional motor, and in a second coupling state directly or indirectly couples the additional motor with the driven differential element.
