High-current circuit having a printed circuit board comprising a non-conductive substrate, a conductor layerapplied to the substrateand an insulation layerapplied to the conductor layer, contact padsin each case interrupting the insulation layerbeing arranged on both sides of the conductor plate, and the contact padsmaking contact with one another via viasthrough the substrate, and the viasbeing arranged in the area of the contact pads, characterized in that at least a first one of the contact padsis arranged on a first side of the printed circuit board and a first semiconductor switchis connected directly to at least a second one of the contact padson a second side of the printed circuit board, and in that the semiconductor switchis connected to the first contact paddirectly via the viasand the second contact pad, without further conductor tracks.
