An autonomous industrial truck, in particular an order-picking industrial truck, including an undercarriage to support the industrial truck on a roadway. The undercarriage is located on an undercarriage chassis and the industrial truck has a supporting chassis that is provided with supporting means. The supporting chassis can be adjusted relative to the undercarriage chassis between a raised position in which the supporting means are raised from the roadway and a lowered position in which the supporting means are lowered onto the roadway.

Autonomous industrial truck

An industrial truck () has a compartment for an energy supply unit () having a lateral opening (). A retaining apparatus () is provided for fixing the energy supply unit () in position in the lateral direction and a contacting apparatus () is provided for the electrical connection of the energy supply unit () with the industrial truck. The retaining apparatus () can pivot between a retaining position and a removal position, and a vehicle-side coupling element () of the contacting apparatus () is located on the retaining apparatus (). In the retaining position of the retaining apparatus (), the vehicle-side coupling element () is above the energy supply unit () and in the removal position the retaining apparatus () with the vehicle-side coupling element () is outside the range of motion of the energy supply unit ().

A chassis for a battery-operated industrial truck has a center chassis section () configured to hold a battery block. The center chassis section () is open on top, has a forward transverse wall (), a rear transverse wall (), an open side wall () provided with a lateral battery compartment opening (B), and a closed side wall () which is at a distance from the open side wall () in the transverse direction of the chassis. The center chassis section () has a chassis bottom () in the form of a rigid and torsion-resistant hollow body.

An industrial truck, in particular counterbalance fork-lift truck, has a front drive axle () which has at least one electric drive motor and is fastened together with other components (K) to a vehicle frame (). A component carrier (T) adjoining the drive axle () at the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is rigidly connected to the drive axle () and at least one vibration-producing and/or vibration-transmitting component (K) is fastened on the component carrier (T). The drive axle () with the component carrier (T) and the components (K) fastened thereon form a preassembled axle assembly, which is elastically mounted on the vehicle frame ().

A hydraulic steering device () of a mobile machine, in particular of an industrial truck, includes a steering angle transmitter () in mechanically functional communication with a steering valve (). As a function of the actuation of the steering angle transmitter (), the steering valve () controls the connection of a steering drive () with a pressure fluid source () and a reservoir (). To vary the translation ratio of the steering device in a simple manner, a bypass device () is operationally associated with the steering drive (). By activation of the bypass device, the quantity of pressure fluid delivered from the pressure fluid source () to the steering drive () can be diverted to a reservoir ().

A mobile machine, such as an industrial truck, has heat-emitting drive components (K) of a traction drive and a hydraulic work system. The traction drive includes at least one electric traction motor () and a traction motor control system (). The hydraulic work system includes at least one electric pump motor () and a pump motor control system (). At least some of the drive components (K) are located in a cooling circuit. The cooling circuit has a cooling device (), to which, on the output side, the traction motor (), the pump motor (), the traction motor control (), and the pump motor control system () are connected, and which can be connected on the input side, depending on the fluid temperature in a reservoir () of the hydraulic work system, to the reservoir () or to a return line of the heat-emitting drive components (K).

An industrial truck has a vehicle frame () with a frame portion () having a lateral frame opening () for receiving a battery block. A door () covers the frame opening () and may be pivoted outwardly about a substantially vertical axis of rotation (A). To allow the door () to be opened approximately 180&#xb0;, the door () is connected to the vehicle frame () by a double hinge (). A second axis of rotation (A) is set apart and parallel to the first axis of rotation (A) and is alterable in its position when the door () pivots about the first axis of rotation (A). A device for obstructing a rotational motion of the door () about the second axis of rotation (A) can be provided, which device can be active in the pivoting range between the closed position and an open position that is approximately at right angles.

An industrial truck, such as a counterweight fork-lift truck, has a vehicle frame () with a frame portion () configured to receive a battery block. The frame portion () has at least an upper frame opening () and a lateral frame opening (). The lateral frame opening () can be covered by a door () pivotable about a substantially vertical axis (A). The door () is configured to reinforce the frame and can be locked in the closed position by a force-transmitting locking unit (). The locking unit () can have a force-transmission element () which receives tensile and pressure forces and can be adjusted in the longitudinal and height direction.

A vehicle has at least one electrical traction motor, at least one additional user of electrical energy, a vehicle control system and a source of electrical energy. The traction motor is effectively connected with the vehicle control system so that in the event of a failure of the source of electrical energy, the vehicle is automatically decelerated in regenerative operation and the user is supplied with electrical energy by the traction motor which is operating in the regenerative mode.
