An operating device is provided for manually actuating lifting devices. The device includes at least one switching element arranged in a switch housing, wherein the switching element includes a tappet, which protrudes from the switch housing. The tappet is guided in a sleeve and is covered by a covering element having a threaded ring. The sleeve protrudes outside through an opening in the switch housing, and is held in the switch housing through a threaded joint. The covering element is screwed to the sleeve in a detachable manner through the threaded ring of the covering element. Optionally, a tool is provided for installing the covering element.

Operating device for manually actuating lifting devices

A device for suspending a rail of an overhead conveyor or a hoisting machine from a traversing gear or supporting structure includes a tension element, which carries the rail by one end via a fixing device. The fixing device grasps a support element of the rail. The support element widens and extends at least partly in the lengthwise direction of the rail. To provide a device for suspending a rail that provides enhanced safety against collapse, the fixing device includes two fixing parts, which are connected like pliers by means of a bolt running in the lengthwise direction of the rail. The fixing parts swivel toward each other from the open position into the fixing position by their fixing regions. The support element of the rail rests against the bearing surfaces of the fixing parts, even in the open position, when the fastening means are released.

Device for suspending a travel rail of an overhead conveyor or a hoisting machine

A device for suspending a rail, particularly a running rail of an overhead conveyor or of a lifting apparatus, on a traveling mechanism or supporting framework with a traction element, which is fastened at one end to the rail. The traction element is passed through by a bolt, which is fastened to the rail via a fixing device. The traction element consists of a single part and comprises a lower borehole for the bolt and an upper borehole for fastening to the traveling mechanism or to the supporting framework.

Device for suspending a rail, particularly a running rail of an overhead conveyor or of a lifting apparatus

A running gear, for example, a single-rail lower-flange running gear for hoisting equipment, includes several wheels running on a rail, at least two of which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of travel of the running gear and adapted to be driven by an electric motor. The driven wheels are joined to at least two shafts, which are oriented coaxially to the axis of rotation of said at least two driven wheels.

The invention concerns a load hook with a hook fastened to a hook tackle that can be safely handled. A cover region is arranged at least partially between the hook tackle and the hook, such that the hook is covered starting at the outer contour of the hook tackle.

An arrangement for axial securing of a grooved bolt includes a holding element and a securing element. The grooved bolt passes through the holding element in the axial direction. The securing element, which may be connected to the holding element, engages the groove of the bolt and secures the bolt in a locked position.

A device for suspending a rail, such as a travel rail of an overhead conveyor or a hoisting machine, from a traversing gear or supporting structure includes a tension element secured by one end to the rail. A bolt passes through the tension element and is received by a fixing device that is secured to the rail. The tension element is at least partly recessed in the fixing device in the direction of suspension. In order to provide a secure device that has a long service life and a low structural height, the tension element is fastened to the bolt by a ball-shaped joint, such as a pivoting bearing.

Device for suspending a rail of an overhead conveyor or a hoisting machine

The invention relates to a suspended control device () which is suspended by means of a control line () connected to a unit to be controlled (). Said suspended control device is especially a control switch or a suspended push-button switch for controlling hoisting equipment, the control line () comprising electrical lines () for transmitting control signals, and a traction relief element () which is supported at the top, on the unit (), and used to absorb weight and tractive forces. The aim of the invention is to provide a suspended control device () whereby the length of the control line () can be easily changed. To this end, a storage element for receiving and releasing a defined length of the electrical lines () is provided behind the region wherein the traction relief element () is supported, seen in the direction of the unit () from the suspended control device ().

A method for monitoring a chain pulley block and a chain pulley block apparatus with an electric actuator motor () that is connected at the drive side to a transmission () across a sliding clutch (). In order to achieve a safe operation of the chain pulley block, the speed of the transmission () is determined via a sensor (), the determined speed of the transmission () is compared in a control device () to the operating speed of the actuator motor () as determined from rated duty of the actuator motor () and if a deviation is found between the speed of the transmission () and the operating speed, allowing for tolerances and any transmission ratio of the transmission (), the actuator motor () is switched off.

Method of monitoring a chain pulley block and chain pulley block apparatus

A brake for a hoist, includes a brake disk and a magnetic filed which is aligned transversely to the brake disk and generates a reactive force which inhibits a movement of the brake disk and is dependent on the rotation speed of the brake disk as well as a radial distance from the rotation axis. The magnetic field is formed by two magnetic poles arranged on both sides of the brake disk. A cost-efficient, compact and wear-resistant brake which operates in dependence on the rotation direction and is applicable in particular for a drive of a hoist, with the drive including a motor without generator-produced torque and/or with greatly load-dependent rotational speed, and a self-locking gear mechanism, can be implemented in such a manner that both magnetic poles are movable by the reactive force along a predetermined path from a rest position in opposition to a return force of an elastic member in rotation direction, wherein the radial distance is preset during movement along the path by a desired course of the rotation direction dependent and rotational speed dependent braking force and adjustable by the return force of the elastic member.

Brake, in particular for a drive of a hoist

A winch including a casing for accommodating an electric motor, a gearbox and a roller for winding and unwinding a traction member. In order to provide a cost-effective flat winch which can be transported by a single person and used universally, in particular for the domestic sector, the casing has a box-like configuration to exhibit a shape and size of a suitcase or attach&eacute; case, with the casing having opposite flat outer sides, with one outer side having attached thereon a suspension member, and the other outer side being formed with an opening for passage of the traction member. The electric motor, the gearbox and the roller are arranged in the casing and extend in a common plane, with the casing including a handle to allow transport of the winch by a person. The electric motor may be designed as a universal motor, and connected via a belt drive to the gearbox which is designed as a self-locking worm drive.

Portable winch

A travelling mechanism for travelling rail having flange parts and web parts. The mechanism including rest running wheels located opposite to each other which can rest on the flange parts. The flange sides of the rail guide rollers are arranged parallel to web rest in front of and behind each running wheel on both sides. The guide rollers, like the running wheels, are rotatably mounted in lateral bars connected below the travelling rail. The lateral bars are spaced from each other and connected to each other by a connecting traverse. To create a travelling mechanism that is adjustable, whereby the running wheels always run relatively close to the web, the travelling mechanism be adjustable to different flange widths by the use of connecting traverses of different lengths. The spacing between the axes of the guide rollers is variable independently of the running.

Travelling mechanism, especially for lifting devices

A suspension system for attaching a load-bearing member to a lifting mechanism of a hoisting apparatus for a person, in particular a handicapped person in sitting or recumbent disposition, includes a framework having at least three tow lines secured to the lifting mechanism and extending downwardly for attachment to the load-bearing member at points of securement positioned in front and behind a viewing direction of a person carried by the load-bearing member, thereby defining front and rear tow lines, wherein the front and rear tow lines are movable in opposition to one another in vertical direction.

Suspension system for attaching a load-bearing member to a lifting mechanism of a hoisting apparatus for a person

A running gear for hoists and suspended loads has a running rail with two spaced-apart travel tracks that support axially spaced-apart running wheels. An electric motor is coupled to a self-locking worm gear for directly driving one of the running wheels. The running wheels are rotatably supported in a frame to which an assembly for hoisting suspended loads is secured. In order to prevent the running gear from rolling and pitching during braking, which can cause increased wear of the running gear and the running rail, a control unit is provided which is operatively connected to the electric motor and determines a start-up rate during the start-up phase of the motor from an average increase of the motor torque as a function of time, and decreases the motor torque as a function of time at a slower rate than the start-up rate for slowing down the running gear.

Running gear, in particular for hoists and suspended loads, and method

A rope arrangement having carrying ropes guided downward in pairs at four corner points of an imaginary four-cornered shape at a carrying device. One of the carrying ropes extends from one of the corner points of one transverse side of the imaginary four-cornered shape and another of the carrying ropes extends from the other corner point of the same transverse side. The carrying ropes are at a spread angle relative to one another and in a plane extending parallel to the transverse side. Spaced fastening locations of the pairs of carrying ropes provided at an attachment device lie in at least one vertical plane which intersects the transverse sides transversely in the center. In order to achieve a damping of load oscillations in any direction, two carrying ropes are respectively fastened to the corner points and accordingly to the fastening locations of the carrying device and the planes associated with the pairs of carrying ropes are inclined relative to one another at an angle (.beta.) with respect to each transverse side.
