Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables hybrid local and global processing of voice requests from a user. A computing device may receive audio data containing a voice request from a user and may determine, using a local intent engine, a local intent prediction based on the voice request. The computing device may determine that the local intent prediction has a confidence measure that is less than a predetermined threshold and may, in response, transmit data containing the voice request to a global intent engine. The computing device may receive a global intent prediction from the global intent engine and may determine a corresponding computing process based on the global intent prediction.

Hybrid local and global processing of voice requests from users

Game spaces are configured for best computer functioning. A game space is defined by hardware, software, and network(s). Each game space in a home or business is characterized for gaming performance capabilities. Individual devices, peripherals (such wireless gaming controllers, steering wheels, and joysticks), and even networks are also characterized for gaming performance capabilities. Cloud-based services then determine hardware, software, and network configurations that, when combined as a best game space, yield the best computer functioning for computer gaming. The cloud-based services may even auto-install or auto-execute the configurations that yield the best computer functioning for computer gaming.

Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables execution of workloads within a distributed computing environment that includes one or more edge computing devices and/or one or more user computing devices. A computing device may determine a workload for execution within a distributed computing environment that includes a plurality of computing devices. The computing device may determine valid execution slots within the distributed computing environment and may select a first execution slot of the valid execution slots. A first edge computing device may be assigned to execute the workload during the first execution slot. The first execution slot may be selected based on scores computed for the valid execution slots. The scores may be determined based on at least one criteria selected from the group consisting of (i) workload durations, (ii) carbon emissions, (iii) utility costs, and (iv) a disruption penalty.

Efficient distributed computing using edge computing devices

Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables game play or other application sessions from a set of candidate game hosts and environments to consumption devices of a user's choice while the user moves about their home between the different environments. The system may employ methods to determine where a user is located within the home, availability and selection of candidate game hosting and target environments, homing and direction of related I/O and audio-visual (AV) content for consumption. The solution accommodates multiple users simultaneously within the home, whether in single player, multiplayer using the same screen, or multiplayer using separate screen games. The solution may configure AV and input/output (I/O) such that multiple users can consume one or multiple games in the home simultaneously, whether in separate locations or when seated together in front of the same consumption device.

Peripheral device registration in and migration between environments

Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables determining, for each respective content component of a streaming session, a host device for displaying the respective content component. The system may utilize user, content, and device context to orchestrate content components across all connected displays to maximize the collective user experience across all users in an environment. Inputs may be provided to a machine learning model that considers every possible layout combination of content components on a one or more host devices and outputs potential layouts for the one or more host devices. The potential layouts may be sorted by confidence and one layout selected for each of the one or more host devices.

Intelligent content presentation in a multi-user, multi-device, and/or multi-content ecosystem

A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing an ancillary user interface adaptation operation. The ancillary user interface adaptation operation includes providing an information handling system with a primary integrated processor system and an ancillary integrated processor system, the primary integrated processor system executing a primary control point service, the ancillary integrated processor system executing an ancillary control point service, the ancillary integrated processor system controlling an ancillary user interface via the ancillary control point service; determining when a user initiates a change to the ancillary user interface; and, configuring the ancillary user interface in response to the change initiated by the user via the ancillary control point service.
