A data transmission method is provided. The data transmission method may include the following steps. A first memory of a master microcontroller (MCU) of an apparatus may store an encrypted header and firmware data associated with a slave MCU of the apparatus. The encrypted header may include information corresponding to the firmware data, and the firmware data may include a plurality of firmware blocks. Then, the master MCU may transmit the encrypted header to the slave MCU. Then, the slave MCU may decrypt the encrypted header to obtain the information corresponding to the firmware data. Then, the slave MCU may obtain the firmware blocks from the master MCU according to a plurality of pre-defined settings and the information corresponding to the firmware data. Then, a second memory of the MCU may store the firmware blocks.

Data transmission method and apparatus thereof

A method and a User Equipment (UE) for performing uplink repetitions and a related base station (BS) are provided. The method includes a UE receiving a Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) threshold from a Base Station (BS); initiating a 4-step Random Access (RA) procedure; performing a Downlink (DL) Reference Signal (RS) measurement to obtain an RSRP measurement result; and performing a Message 1 (Msg1) repetition operation and a Message 3 (Msg3) repetition request operation within the 4-step RA procedure after determining that the RSRP measurement result is equal to or less than the RSRP threshold.

A communications apparatus communicating with at least one cellular network includes a radio transceiver and a processor. The radio transceiver is capable of transmitting or receiving wireless radio frequency signals to or from an air interface in the cellular network. The processor is configured to determine whether an inter-RAT change will be triggered in a subsequent procedure when the communications apparatus is in a connected mode. When the processor determines that an inter-RAT change procedure will be triggered, the processor is configured to selectively perform a predetermined procedure instead of the subsequent procedure to avoid the inter-RAT change.
