A LiDAR and a method of a fast photon-count integration for a LiDAR are disclosed. The proposed method, wherein the LiDAR includes a laser, includes: providing a target and the LiDAR; causing the laser to fire a laser pulse towards the target according to a random mechanism; and causing an interval between two adjacent laser pulses to be less than a time that the laser spent for a round trip of maximum unambiguous range to speed up a detection and a ranging of the target.

LiDAR and method of fast photon-count integration for LiDAR

A system and method for LiDAR defogging is disclosed. The method comprises: applying a detection device to determine the fog status and generate a histogram; determining the fog concentration between a target location and the detection device in the histogram according to the histogram; and applying a defogging method to defog the fog concentration between the target location and the detecting device.

System and method for lidar defogging

A method for processing a frequency division multiplexing signal transmitted in a channel is provided. The method includes the steps of a) receiving the frequency division multiplexing signal having a residual intercarrier interference (ICI) and a channel noise and transmitted by plural subcarriers; b) performing a cyclic prefix removal and a discrete Fourier transform for the frequency division multiplexing signal to obtain a frequency-domain signal; c) analyzing the frequency-domain signal to obtain a plurality of correlation values for the residual ICI and the channel noise; and d) performing a communication signal processing for the frequency division multiplexing signal based on at least one of the plural correlation values.

System and method for processing a frequency division multiplexing signal

A communication device adopted for a multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system and a method thereof are provided. The MIMO-OFDM system comprises the communication device and a corresponding communication device, and they communicate with each other. The communication device comprises a transceiving module, a singular value decomposition (SVD) operation module, and an interpolation operation module. The transceiving module receives a channel state information (CSI) from the corresponding communication device, wherein the CSI comprises CSIs of a plurality of selected subcarriers. For each of the selected subcarriers, the SVD module performs an SVD decomposition operation on the channel matrix representing the CSI of the selected subcarrier to obtain a decomposed result, wherein the decomposed result comprises a beamforming matrix, an SVD matrix, and a decoding matrix. The interpolation operation module performs interpolations on the beamforming matrices of the selected subcarriers to derive beamforming matrices of the unselected subcarriers. The interpolation operation module performs interpolations on the decoding matrixes of the selected subcarriers to derive obtain decoding matrices of the unselected subcarriers.
