An antennas-in-package (AiP) verification board is provided, which includes a carrier board configured for disposing an antenna array or an electronic circuit; and a plurality of SMPM connectors. The plurality of SMPM connectors are arranged in an array on the carrier board and electrically connected with the antenna array or the electronic circuit of the carrier board for testing the characteristics of the antenna array on the carrier board or the characteristics of the electronic circuit on the carrier board. The AiP verification board is fixed on a beamforming test platform. In addition to the aforementioned AiP verification board, an AiP verification board including a plurality of adaptor structures and an AiP verification board including a plurality of connectors and a plurality of adaptor structures are also provided.

Antennas-in-package verification board

An optical and electrical hybrid beamforming transmitter, receiver, and signal processing method are provided. The transmitter includes, but is not limited to, two photoelectric converters, two adjusting circuits, and an antenna array. The photoelectric converter converts an optical signal into an initial electric signal, respectively. The adjusting circuit is coupled to the photoelectric converter, and are adapted for delaying the initial electric signal according to an expected beam pattern formed by the antenna array, respectively, to output an adjusted electric signal. The antenna array includes two antennas that are coupled to the adjusting circuit. The antenna radiates electromagnetic wave according to the adjusted electric signal. Accordingly, a phase of the signal may be adjusted, and the number of the elements may be reduced.

Optical and electrical hybrid beamforming transmitter, receiver, and signal processing method

A transition structure for millimeter wave is provided. The transition structure includes a first layer signal element coupled to an end of a first transmission line and a plurality of first layer ground elements surrounding the end of the first transmission line equidistantly from the end of the first transmission line and disposed along two opposite sides of a strip body of the first transmission line equidistantly from the strip body of the first transmission line. The transition structure further includes an intermediate layer signal element coupled to the first layer signal element and a plurality of intermediate layer ground elements surrounding the intermediate layer signal element quasi-coaxially. A multilayer transition structure including a multilayer structure and the transition structure is also provided. Therefore, the problem of operating frequency caused by the thickness of the multilayer structure can be overcome, thereby increasing the resonance frequency of the multilayer structure.

A multi-band antenna includes a grounding portion, a main radiating portion, and a shielding wall. The main radiating portion includes a first radiating portion having a first feed end and a second radiating portion having a second feed end. The first and second radiating portions are structurally symmetrical. The main radiating portion and the shielding wall are arranged on opposite sides of the grounding portion.

An unbalanced antenna includes a non-conductive substrate having one short edge, and two long edges connected respectively to two opposite ends of the short edge and parallel to each other, and an unbalanced antenna disposed proximate to the short edge of the non-conductive substrate and having a ground portion. A ground plane has side edges extending along the long edges of the non-conductive substrate, and is electrically coupled with the ground portion. The length of the ground plane is longer than a quarter of an equivalent wavelength corresponding to an operating frequency of the unbalanced antenna. A pair of choke sleeve structures are symmetrically disposed at opposite sides of the ground plane and spaced apart from the unbalanced antenna by a quarter of an equivalent wavelength corresponding to the operating frequency. Each choke sleeve structure has one end connected to the ground plane, and the other end extending in a direction away from the unbalanced antenna.

The antenna module includes a substrate, and a plurality of planar dipole antennas each including a short-circuit section, two first radiator sections operable in a first frequency band and connected to the short-circuit section, and two second radiator sections operable in a second frequency band and connected to the short-circuit section. The planar dipole antennas are arranged such that geometric centers thereof are respectively spaced apart from a center point bounded by the planar dipole antennas by a predetermined distance, such that each of the planar dipole antennas is spaced apart from an adjacent one of the planar dipole antennas by a predetermined minimum distance. The system module has a grounding plane that faces toward and that is spaced apart from and parallel to the substrate.

A dipole antenna includes interconnected first and second grounding portions, first and second connecting portions bending respectively from the first and second grounding portions in a substantially same direction, first and second extending portions extending respectively from the first connecting portion, and third and fourth extending portions extending respectively from the second connecting portion. The second extending portion is disposed closer to the first grounding portion than the first extending portion. The fourth extending portion is disposed closer to the second grounding portion than the third extending portion.
