An antenna structure includes a housing, a first feed source, a ground portion, a radiator, and a second feed source. The housing includes a front frame, a backboard, and a side frame. The side frame defines a slot. The front frame defines a first gap, a second gap, and a groove. A radiating portion and a coupling portion are divided from the housing by the slot, the first gap, the second gap, and the groove. The first feed source is electrically connected to the radiating portion. One end of the ground portion is electrically connected to the radiating portion and another end of the ground portion is grounded. The radiator is coupled with and apart from the coupling portion. The second feed source is electrically connected to the radiator and a current from the second feed source is coupled to the coupling portion through the radiator.

Antenna structure and wireless communication device using same

An antenna structure includes a metallic member, a first feed portion, a first ground portion and a second ground portion. The metallic member includes a front frame, a backboard, and a side frame. The side frame defines a slot. The front frame defines a first gap and a second gap communicating with the slot and extending across the front frame. A portion of the front frame between the first gap and the second gap forms a first radiating section. Current enters the first radiating section from the first feed portion and flows through the first radiating section and towards the first gap and the second gap to generate radiation signals in a first frequency band and a second frequency band. The frequencies of the first frequency band are higher than the frequencies of the second frequency band. A wireless communication device using the antenna structure is provided.

An antenna structure includes a metallic member and an extending section. The metallic member includes a front frame, a backboard, and a side frame. The side frame defines a slot. The front frame defines a first gap and a second gap communicating with the slot and extending across the front frame. A portion of the front frame between the first gap and the second gap forms a radiating section. Current enters the first radiating section from the first feed portion and flows through the first radiating section and towards the first gap and the second gap to generate radiation signals in a first frequency band and a second frequency band; the current flows through the extending section to generate radiation signals in a third frequency band. A wireless communication device using the antenna structure is provided.

A portion of the front frame between the second gap and the third gap forms a first radiating section. Current enters the first radiating section from the first feed portion, flows through the first radiating section and towards the second gap to generate radiation signals in a first frequency band, flows through the first radiating section and towards the third gap to generate radiation signals in a second frequency band, and flows through the first radiating section and towards the second gap and the third gap to generate radiation signals in a third frequency band. A wireless communication device using the antenna structure is provided.

A dual-band Wi-Fi antenna structure includes a metallic middle frame of a casing of a handheld electronic device, a grounding plane received in the middle frame, an antenna body connected to the grounding plane, and an adjusting element. The grounding plane defines a rectangular recess in a corner thereof. The antenna body has a radiation patch having a part located over the recess. The adjusting element is located in the recess. An effective length of the recess is adjustable by adjusting a parameter of the adjusting element, which is a coefficient of self-inductance when the adjusting element is an adjustable inductor. By adjusting the effective length of the recess, a resonant frequency of the antenna structure at a low frequency band is adjustable, while a resonant frequency thereof at a high frequency band is not altered.

An antenna structure includes an antenna holder, a radiating body, a feed portion, and a grounding portion. The antenna holder includes a plurality of surfaces. The feed portion is positioned on one surface of the antenna holder and electronically connected to a first end of the radiating body. The ground portion is positioned on one surface of the antenna holder and electronically connected to a second end of the radiating body so as to form a loop antenna. An electronic element is surrounded by the loop antenna.

An antenna structure includes an antenna holder, a feed portion, a grounding portion, and a radiating body. The antenna holder includes a plurality of surfaces. The feed portion and the ground portion are both positioned on one surface of the antenna holder. The radiating body is positioned on at least one surface of the antenna holder. The feed portion is electronically connected to a first end of the radiating body. The ground portion is electronically connected to a second end of the radiating body so as to form a loop antenna.

An antenna module includes a main antenna and a parasitic resonator. The main antenna includes a feed arm, a ground arm, a first radiating body connected to one end of the feed arm, a second radiating body, and a third radiating body connected to one end of the ground arm. The first radiating body and the third radiating body are connected to the second radiating body and positioned at two sides of the second radiating body. The parasitic resonator is resonated with the main antenna and configured for widening a high frequency bandwidth of the main antenna.

Antenna module and wireless communication device employing the same

An antenna assembly includes a base, a ground surface, a first radiating portion, a second radiating portion, a third radiating portion, and a feed portion. The ground surface is arranged on a surface of the base. The feed portion includes a plurality of feed points mounted on the radiating portions. The first radiating portion and one feed point transmit and receive wireless signals at a first frequency band and a second frequency band; the second radiating portion and the third radiating portion couple with the feed points to transmit and receive wireless signals at a third frequency band and a fourth frequency. The first radiating portion, the second radiating portion, and the third radiating portion form several slot antennas. A wireless communication device employing the antenna assembly is also described.

An antenna structure includes a dielectric substrate, a slot antenna, and a feeding strip. The dielectric substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The slot antenna includes a ground plane positioned on the first surface of the dielectric substrate, and a slot defined in the ground plane where the conductive material is missing. The slot opens at an edge of the ground plane. The feeding strip is positioned on the second surface of the dielectric substrate and extends across the slot, the feeding strip resonates with the slot antenna.

Antenna structure and wireless communication device employing same

A tunable antenna including a dielectric substrate, a main antenna, and a resonating antenna is disclosed. The dielectric substrate is made of dielectric constant-tunable material. The main antenna is positioned on the dielectric substrate, the main antenna includes a feeding arm and a first grounding arm. The main antenna generates a low-frequency mode and at least one high-frequency mode. The resonating antenna is positioned on the dielectric substrate. The resonating antenna resonates with the main antenna to generate another high-frequency mode. The central frequencies of the low-frequency mode and the high-frequency modes of the tunable antenna are adjusted by adjusting a dielectric constant of the dielectric substrate.

Tunable antenna and wireless communication device employing same

A wireless communication device includes a base board, a metal zone, and a filter. The metal zone and the filter are disposed on the base board. The metal zone defines a slot. The filter is connected to the slot to divide the slot into a first slot section and a second slot section. When a current having a first frequency flows through the first slot section and the second slot section, the filter is in an open circuit state, and the first slot section and the second slot section are activated to receive/transmit wireless signals having a first central frequency. When a current having a second frequency only flows through the first slot section, the filter is in a closed circuit state, and the first slot section is activated to receive/transmit wireless signals having a second central frequency.

Wireless communication device with slot antenna

An antenna assembly employed by a wireless communication device having a housing includes a base board, a grounding member secured on the base board and grounding the antenna assembly, a first radio member electrically connected to the based board to receive and transmit wireless signals having a first central frequency, and a second radio member forming a portion of the housing and electrically connected to the grounding member. The second radio member couples with the first radio member to receive and transmit wireless signals having a second central frequency.
