Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for sending links or hotlinks to a device are provided. The device may be on a wireless network, a wired network, or directly coupled to the device sending the link. The link/hotlink contains an associated action that is performed by the device receiving the link. The associated action may be performed when a user interface is activated or automatically when the link/hotlink is received by the device. The action can be a broadcast/streaming action, Internet action, call action, download action, or upload action. The broadcast action instructs the device to tune to a particular broadcast, the streaming action instructs the device to stream specified content/media, the internet action instructs the device to access an Internet site, and the call action instructs the device to call a telephone number. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Method and systems for generating and sending a hot link associated with a user interface to a device

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for sending hotlinks to a device are provided. The device may be on a wireless network, a wired network, or directly coupled to the device sending the hot link. The process may be performed to form a mixed media message. Received image message to convey current information may be aged via time and/or color displays.

Method and system for generating and sending a hot link associated with a user interface to a device

A multi-positional, multi-level user interface system including a keyboard hinged over a base surface for a pointing device such as a mouse. The keyboard and base rotate relative to each other about a hinge axis to reveal the surface, providing a portable keyboard and pointing surface. A kickstand can support the keyboard above the base while in an open position. The keyboard and pointing device can be used with two hands with the system resting in a user's lap. The keyboard can also swivel about an axis other than the hinge axis. The keyboard can swivel 180 degrees for left-handed use, and can be positioned at other detent angles. A mouse can also be stowed on the base with a magnetic, friction, or other coupling. The interface system can further act as a communication hub for other peripheral devices, such as a joystick, to communicate with a computing device.

In one embodiment, the complementary logic further facilitates echoing on a display, alphanumeric data corresponding to any entered encoded representations. Additionally, each of the code entry buttons includes one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs), and the LEDs are lit to visually echo the encoded representations of the variable length encoding scheme of letters, numbers or punctuations entered through a standard input keypad.

The LEDs may be disposed on a side surface or underneath an array of input keys.
