The present invention is directed to apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for implementing a pre-contracted, staged, currency exchange system. Implementation includes receiving travel information from a user; processing the travel information, wherein processing the travel information comprises determining a negotiated currency exchange rate based on the received travel information; generating a contract based on processing the travel information, wherein the contract comprises terms for executing one or more transactions using the negotiated currency exchange rate, wherein the negotiated currency exchange rate is valid for at least one of a predetermined location, a predetermined number of transactions, or a predetermined period of time; and executing one or more transactions using the negotiated currency exchange rate in accordance with the contract terms.

Pre-contracted, staged, currency exchange system

While performing or initiating a transaction with a self-service video transaction device, a user may interact with a video agent and a terminal associated therewith. Video and/or audio functionalities may be enabled or disabled based on a length of a wait time to connect to a video agent. If the wait time exceeds a predetermined threshold, video and/or audio functionalities may be disabled, and the self-service device may generate a display indicating that video and/or audio functionalities are unavailable. If the wait time does not exceed the predetermined threshold, video and/or audio functionalities may be enabled, and the self-service device may generate a display indicating that video and/or audio functionalities are available. Also, on-site assistance features are provided that may allow for additional functionality to be provided to a user of the self-service video transaction device or other type of transaction device.

A system includes a processor and an interface. The interface receives, from a terminal, planned-deposit information. The terminal is at a location that is remote from a deposit location. The processor associates a deposit identifier with the planned-deposit information and stores the planned-deposit information and the deposit identifier in a memory. A method includes recognizing, at a deposit location, a deposit identifier. The method includes identifying, based on the deposit identifier and information stored in a memory, a planned deposit. The method includes detecting that the planned deposit has been delivered to a depository and determining, by a processor and based on one or more business rules, an availability of funds associated with the planned deposit.

System and method for smart deposit retrieval

Video transaction machines (VTMs) facilitate communications and transactions between customers of a financial institution and video transaction resources, such as video agents, by establishing a video session between a VTM and a video agent workstation. After a computing device of the financial institution receives information identifying the customer, VTM, or VTM location requesting the services of a video agent, the computing device may place the customer in one or more virtual queues based on an overall visit time at the VTM location. In order to maintain a visit time at the VTM location below a predetermined visit time threshold, the controller may prioritize transactions at VTMs with longer visit times over transactions at VTMs with shorter visit times.

Dynamic allocation of video resources

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for receiving a customization that will be displayed on the screen of an ATM based on a customer initiating a session with the ATM. The customization is associated with a function to perform a financial transaction. The function is performed as a result of the customer interacting with the customization on the screen of the ATM. The customization may be altered based on a handicap impairment of the customer. The displaying of the customization may be restricted for security purposes or as a request of the customer.

For example, while a two-way video conference system may be used for communication between a customer and a remote specialist, in certain instances in which the customer requires transfer to another specialist (e.g., a specialist having a different specialty) other media formats, such as one-way live video conference, live audio-only conference, text chat or the like may be implemented.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for communicating customer preferences to an automated teller machine (ATM). In this way, the system receives at least one customer preference for conducting transactions at an ATM and input from the customer indicating the customer's desire to conduct an ATM transaction. In response to receiving the customer input, the system may generate a customer preference communication for receipt by the ATM, wherein the customer preference communication comprises at least of the at least one customer preferences for conducting transactions at an ATM.
