A lighting device assembly includes a light engine assembly and a mounting housing. A rotatable support structure supports the light engine assembly on the mounting housing for rotation relative to the mounting housing about a first axis. A releasable connection mechanism locks the light engine assembly to the rotatable support structure and is selectively releasable to release the light engine assembly from the rotary support structure.

Adjustable lighting device with twist and lock

A lighting device assembly includes a light source attached to a heat sink member to emit light in a first direction. A support structure supports the heat sink member in a pivotally adjustable orientation about an adjustment axis, to allow adjustment of the first direction. A drive mechanism selectively drives the heat sink member to pivotally adjust the orientation of the heat sink member about the adjustment axis to change the first direction. The drive mechanism includes a drive screw having, a collar threaded to the drive screw to move linearly along the drive screw axis as the drive screw is rotated, and at least one strut to transfer linear movement of the collar to pivotal movement of the heat sink member.

Adjustable lighting device

Winches with dual mode remote controls, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. A representative winch can include a frame, a cable drum rotatably supported by the frame, a drive motor operatively connected to the cable drum, and a winch control module. The winch control module can include an enable/disable circuit having a normally open ground path connection and a controller having wireless capability connected to the enable/disable circuit. The controller can include instructions to disable the wireless capability of the controller when the normally open ground path connection is completed.

Winches with dual mode remote control, and associated systems and methods

Winches with integrated lighting, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. A representative winch with integrated lighting can include a frame, a cable drum rotatably supported by the frame, a drive motor operatively connected to the cable drum, and an electrical module. The electrical module can include a housing with first and second end caps coupled to the housing. An elongate light guide can be mounted to the housing between the housing and the cable drum with one or more drum light sources connected to the elongate light guide.

Winch with integrated lighting, and associated systems and methods

Power connectors with integrated fuse support, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. A representative power connector can include a power port and a mating plug. The power port can include a fuse support having first and second fuse receptacles, wherein the first fuse receptacle is connectable to a first supply cable. The power port can include first and second port terminals, wherein the first port terminal is connectable to a second supply cable. A jumper cable can be connected between the second port terminal and the second fuse receptacle. The plug can include a housing configured to enclose the fuse support between the plug and the power port when the plug is mated to the power port. The plug can include first and second plug terminals mateable with the first and second port terminals.

Actively stabilized payload support apparatus and methods

A method for using a ski exercise machine involves steps for putting on a pair of ski boots, stepping onto a pair of foot pads on the ski exercise machine one at a time, the foot pads implemented on a carriage rolling on arcuate rails, engaging a rearward portion of the sole of each ski boot in each foot pad beneath a heel retainer plate as a part of each foot pad, such that the heel portion of the ski boot is constrained vertically, placing the toe of each ski boot behind an adjustable toe stop on each foot pad such that the ski boot is constrained from moving forward in the foot pad, but the toe is not constrained vertically, and grasping a hand rail as part of the ski exercising apparatus and urging the carriage side to side on the arcuate rails, simulating skiing activity.

Ski exercise apparatus

A foot pad for a ski exercise apparatus has a heel retainer plate across a width of the foot pad proximate one end of a length of the foot pad, the heel retainer plate spaced above a floor level of the foot pad, and a toe stop spanning the width of the foot pad and adjustable along a portion of the length of the foot pad at a forward end of the foot pad opposite the heel retainer plate. A skier, wearing a ski boot, is enabled to step into the foot pad, engage a portion of the sole at the heel of the ski boot under the heel retainer plate, constraining the heel of the ski boot vertically, and to lower a toe of the ski boot to lie behind the toe stop, constraining the toe portion horizontally not vertically. The foot pad is provided with ski exercising apparatus.

Ski exersize apparatus

A portable pulling tool is provided including an integrally formed one-piece gear case for positioning all of the gear train components. The gear train includes a combination of helical gears and a differential planetary gear unit in a unique configuration. A motor control system is provided to automatically shut off the motor when a predetermined current load is detected. A multi-segment LED is provided to indicate to the user the amount of load that is being applied.
