Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and apparatus for end-to-end hardware tracing in an Edge network are disclosed. An example compute device includes at least one memory, instructions in the compute device, and processing circuitry to execute the instructions to, in response to receiving detecting an object having a global group identifier, generate monitoring data corresponding to a respective process executing on the compute device, the monitoring data including a process identifier, index the monitoring data having the process identifier to the corresponding global group identifier, synchronize a time stamp of the monitoring data to a network time protocol corresponding to the global group identifier, and transmit the indexed and synchronized monitoring data as tracing data in to the a tracing datastore.

Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and apparatus for end-to-end hardware tracing in an edge network

Examples described herein relate to a network interface device. In some examples, the network interface device includes a device interface; input/output circuitry to receive Ethernet compliant packets and output Ethernet compliant packets; circuitry to monitor a particular page for a rate of data copying among nodes within a group of two or more nodes; and circuitry to perform one or more actions based, at least in part, on the rate of data copying among the nodes within the group of two or more nodes to attempt to reduce a number of copy operations of the data among the nodes within the group of two or more nodes, wherein the group of two or more nodes are part of a distributed shared memory (DSM).

An apparatus and method for conditional quality of service in a processor. For example, one embodiment of a processor comprises: a plurality of processor resources to be allocated to a plurality of executed processes in accordance with a set of quality of service (QoS) rules; and conditional quality of service (QoS) circuitry/logic to monitor usage of the plurality of processor resources by the plurality of processes and to responsively modify an allocation of a first processor resource for a first process in response to detecting a first threshold value being reached in a second resource allocated to the first process.

A method is described. The method includes performing the following with a storage end transaction agent within a storage sled of a rack mounted computing system: receiving a request to perform storage operations with one or more storage devices of the storage sled, the request specifying an all-or-nothing semantic for the storage operations; recognizing that all of the storage operations have successfully completed; after all of the storage operations have successfully completed, reporting to a CPU side transaction agent that sent the request that all of the storage operations have successfully completed.

Disaggregated rack mount storage side transaction support

Technologies for fast distributed storage recovery include a distributed storage system that includes multiple controller nodes and multiple target nodes. Each controller node is coupled to a corresponding target node via a storage fabric. Each target node stores replica data. The system identifies a failed node and a corresponding node that was coupled to the failed node. If the failed node is a controller node, the corresponding node is a target node. If the failed node is a target node, the corresponding node is a controller node. The system instantiates a replacement node, adds the replacement node to the system, and couples the replacement node to the corresponding node. The system may direct a backup target node to copy replica data to the replacement target node via the storage fabric. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Technologies for fast recovery of distributed storage systems on disaggregated storage

Apparatuses, systems and methods are disclosed herein that generally relate to distributed network storage and filesystems, such as Ceph, Hadoop&#xae;, or other big data storage environments utilizing resources and/or storage that may be remotely located across a communication link such as a network. More particularly, disclosed are techniques for one or more machines or devices to scrub data on remote resources and/or storage without requiring all or substantially all of the remote data to be read across the communication link in order to scrub it. Some disclosed embodiments discuss having validation be relatively local to storage(s) being scrubbed, and some embodiments discuss only providing to the one or more machines scrubbing data selected results of the relatively local scrubbing over the communication link.
