Backpacker firearm stock

A stock assembly for a takedown firearm and related methods are disclosed. The stock assembly has a buttstock assembly, and a forend assembly removably couplable to the buttstock assembly at a first location and a second location. When the forend assembly is coupled to the buttstock at the first location, the forend assembly is positioned to support a barrel of the firearm in a longitudinal firing position. When the forend assembly is coupled to the buttstock at the second location, the forend assembly is positioned to support the barrel at an angle relative to the longitudinal firing position.

A firearm suppressor cover assembly and method of protecting a user while firing a weapon are disclosed. The cover assembly has an insulating cover assembly, a one or more clamps or other firearm suppressor attachment means, one or more standoffs per clamp, and an optional heat shield. The standoffs are coupled to the one or more clamps and in contact with the insulating cover assembly thereby forming an air gap between the suppressor and the insulating cover assembly. The heat shield may be arranged within the air gap.

Takedown firearm with integral forend storage

A firearm accessory mount for a take-down rifle is disclosed. The mount has a first portion having an accessory interface, and a second portion opposing the first portion. The second portion has a locking block with a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is shaped and positioned to engage a receiver assembly of the take-down rifle. At least one of the first portion or the second portion has a barrel engagement surface. A related method is also disclosed.

Suppressor cover

A firearm suppressor cover assembly and method of protecting a user while firing a weapon are disclosed. The cover assembly has an insulating cover assembly, a one or more clamps, one or more standoffs per clamp, and an optional heat shield. The standoffs are coupled to the one or more clamps and in contact with the insulating cover assembly thereby forming an air gap between the suppressor and the insulating cover assembly. The heat shield may be arranged within the air gap.

A stock for a firearm is disclosed. The stock has a length of pull (LOP) adjustment mechanism. The LOP adjustment mechanism is biased towards an engaged configuration and is movable to a disengaged configuration. A locating member protrudes into a stock mounting space and a first arm is in an engagement position when the LOP adjustment mechanism is in the engaged configuration. The locating member is translated such that the locating member does not protrude into the mounting space and the first arm is pivoted into a disengagement position when the LOP adjustment mechanism is in the disengaged configuration.

Stock for a firearm

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a barrel support for a for a firearm stock. In one example, the barrel support has an elongate frame with a longitudinal axis extending between a fore portion and an aft portion, a first concave barrel recess shaped to support a first barrel, the first concave barrel recess positioned on a first side of the elongate frame. The exemplary barrel support also has a second concave barrel recess shaped to support a second barrel, the second concave barrel recess positioned on a second side of the elongate frame. In this example the first barrel is a tapered barrel, and the second barrel is a straight barrel.

Modular stock for a firearm

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a selectable barrel support that can be inserted into a forend of a firearm stock to support a first barrel type and flipped, rotated, or otherwise moved to support a second barrel type (or third or fourth barrel types). A tensioning mechanism is provided. Bull and tapered barrels are examples of two barrel types that the selectable barrel support can be used to support. The selectable barrel support enables a firearm owner or gunsmith to exchange barrel types on a firearm without having to switch out the firearm stock.
