Implementations relate to techniques for mitigating false positive occurrences of and/or false negative occurrences, of hot word free adaptation, through utilization of a permissive parameter set in some situation(s) and a restrictive parameter set in other situation(s). For example, utilizing the restrictive parameter set when it is determined that a user is engaged in conversation with additional user(s). The permissive parameter set includes permissive parameter(s) that are more permissive than counterpart(s) in the restrictive parameter set. A parameter set is utilized in determining whether condition(s) are satisfied, where those condition(s), if satisfied, indicate that the user is engaging in hot word free interaction with the automated assistant and result in adaptation of function(s) of the automated assistant.

Techniques are described herein for detecting and/or enrolling (or commissioning) new 'hot commands' that are useable to cause an automated assistant to perform responsive action(s) without having to be first explicitly invoked. In various implementations, an automated assistant may be transitioned from a limited listening state into a full speech recognition state in response to a trigger event. While in the full speech recognition state, the automated assistant may receive and perform speech recognition processing on a spoken command from a user to generate a textual command. The textual command may be determined to satisfy a frequency threshold in a corpus of textual commands. Consequently, data indicative of the textual command may be enrolled as a hot command. Subsequent utterance of another textual command that is semantically consistent with the textual command may trigger performance of a responsive action by the automated assistant, without requiring explicit invocation.

The disclosure also relates to a method of cleaning, or assessing the cleanliness of, a medical device such as an endoscope. Cleanliness can be assessed by contacting the medical device with the composition, shining an excitation light on the composition, and measuring intensity of resulting fluorescence over time.

An assembly and method for delivery of an analyte sensor including a reusable applicator having a proximal portion and a distal portion are disclosed. The reusable applicator can include a housing, a sensor carrier configured to releasably receive the first analyte sensor, a sharp carrier configured to releasably receive a sharp module, and an actuator movable relative to the housing. The actuator can include three positions: a first position with the sensor carrier and the sharp carrier are at the proximal portion of the reusable applicator, a second position with the sensor carrier and the sharp carrier are at the distal portion of the reusable applicator for delivery of the first analyte sensor, and a third position with the sensor carrier at the distal portion of the reusable applicator and the sharp carrier at the proximal portion of the reusable applicator after delivery of the first analyte sensor from the reusable applicator, wherein the first position, the second position, and the third position are different, and wherein the actuator is configured to be returned from the third position to the first position for delivery of another analyte sensor.

The present disclosure generally relates to an apparatus for improving azimuthal uniformity of a pressure profile of a processing gas. In one example, a processing chamber includes a lid, sidewalls, and a substrate support defining a processing volume. A bottom bowl, a chamber base, and a wall define a purge volume.
