It is an object of the present invention to enable a buyer to collectively manage information related to a variety of commercial transactions performed by the buyer as well as to the settlements for these transactions. The calendar serversupplies a calendar screen to a buyer systemthat is used by the buyer. This calendar screen has electronic invoices addressed to the buyer, which are issued by the supplier system, and electronic deposit/withdrawal detailed statement of the buyer's deposit account, which are issued by a banking system, pasted in the spaces for the relevant dates. When the buyerselects an arbitrary invoice on this calendar screen and inputs his or her approval of this invoice, an account transfer telegraphic message for payment of this invoice is automatically sent to the banking system. The calendar servermanages the status of each invoice ('opened', 'payment request in progress', &#x201c;paid&#x201d;), and notifies the supplier systemand banking systemof this invoice status. The calendar serveralso supplements news such as advertisements which are sent by the supplier systemand banking system, and so forth, selects news following the buyer's consumption trends, and pastes this news in the spaces on the calendar screen which pertain to dates that slightly precede dates on which buyer consumption other forms without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

Described herein are methods and apparatus for the processing of electronic invoices. A server for processing invoices communicates with computing systems such as a supplier system (used by a supplier), a buyer system (used by a buyer), and finance systems (which manage bank accounts of the supplier and buyer). The server communicates with the supplier system and the buyer system regarding an electronic invoice that relates to a transaction between the supplier and the buyer, and that includes a unique identification code. When the buyer has approved the electronic invoice, the supplier system and/or the server is able to settle the invoice using the unique identification code.

Described herein are methods and apparatus for the processing of electronic invoices. A server for processing invoices communicates with computing systems such as a supplier system (used by a supplier), a buyer system (used by a buyer), and finance systems (which manage bank accounts of the supplier and buyer). The server communicates with the supplier system and the buyer system regarding an electronic invoice that relates to a transaction between the supplier and the buyer, and that includes an identification code. When the buyer has approved the electronic invoice, the supplier system and/or the server is able to settle the invoice using the identification code.

An IP communication interface device includes first and second connecting units, and first, second and third processors. The first processor coding first media data as B-channel data inputted to the first connecting unit from a circuit switched network, decoding packet-disassembled media data into which a packet of second media data inputted to the second connecting unit from a LAN is disassembled, and transmitting the decoded media data to the first connecting unit for forwarding as the first media data to the circuit switched network. The second processor packetizing first coded media data, disassembling the packer of the second media data, and transmitting as packet-disassembled media data to the first processor. The third processor generating second media data by adding header data to the packet-assembled media data of the second processors forwarding the second media data to the LAN via the second connecting unit, removing header data, and transmitting the header-less second media data to the second processor.
