A wire harness structure includes a main harness that has a trunk harness routed on a vehicle, and has at least one branch harness having one end connected to the trunk harness as a branch and the other end electrically connected to an electrical device mounted on the vehicle; and a branch connection mechanism to which at least one additional electrical device mounted on the vehicle is electrically connected, and which is connected to the main harness in a retrofitting manner as a branch.

A load controller includes: an input circuit which detects that a drive instruction signal is less or equal to a first input threshold value; a constant current source activated in accordance with a detection by the input circuit; a PWM signal generating unit that is activated by the constant current source and generates a PWM signal; a comparator that is activated by the constant current source and compares the drive instruction signal with a second input threshold value set to be lower than the first input threshold value; a logic calculation unit that carries out a logic calculation of the PWM signal with a compared result of the comparator; a drive control unit that operates in accordance with an output from the logic calculation unit to generate a PWM drive control signal; and a load driving element that is driven by the PWM drive control signal to control a load.

Load controller to pulse width modulation-control a load

A load controller includes: a first input circuit which detects that a drive instruction signal by an operation of a drive instructing unit is less or equal to a first input threshold value; a first constant current source activated in accordance with the detection; a PWM signal supply unit that is activated by the first constant current source and supplies a PWM signal having a prescribed frequency and a duty ratio; a constant control signal supply unit that supplies a constant control signal during failure of the first input circuit or the first constant current source; a drive control unit that generates a PWM drive control signal in accordance with the PWM signal and generates a constant drive control signal in accordance with the constant control signal; and a load driving element that is controlled by the PWM drive or constant drive control signal to drive a load.

Load controller

A connecting structure of a component in a wire harness includes a relay box connected to a circuit at a power supply side and a circuit at a headlamp side, and a control unit connected to the relay box. A connecting section of the relay box is configured to be selectively connected to either one of a headlamp control device and a relay for turning on and off low beam or high beam. Both of the headlamp control device and the relay have terminals of the same shape.

Connecting structure of component in wire harness

An overheat protection device 10 that can perform the immediate resetting of the power cutoff control state or the power limit control state when the overheat state of the drive circuit (power MOSFET) is eliminated. A semiconductor switching apparatus and an intelligent power module 30 are also provided which use the overheat protection device 10. The overheat protection device 10 monitors the energized state of the drive circuit that drives the load 32; when it detects the overheat state of the drive circuit during the energized state, resets the energized state to limit or stop the driving of the load 32; holds the power limit control state or the power cutoff control state and monitors the overheat state in synchronism with the timing signal 102b having a predetermined cycle; and, when the absence of the overheat state is detected during the monitoring, generates the gate control signal 108a to reset the power limit control state or the power cutoff control state.
