Method for producing thermoplastic elastomer powder

A random copolymer comprising ethylene, an .alpha.-olefin and a branched conjugated polyvalent olefin, wherein (i) ethylene, the .alpha.-olefin and an iodine value respectively satisfy the following inequalities: 0&lt;ethylene&lt;100 (% by mol), 0&lt;.alpha.-olefin&lt;100 (% by mol) and 0&lt;iodine value&lt;370 (g/100 g), (ii) an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] measured in decalin at 135.degree. C. of the random copolymer satisfies the following inequality: 0.1 (dl/g)&lt;[.eta.]&lt;10 (dl/g) and (iii) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn).ltoreq.5.
