Provided is a light receiving apparatus including a first light receiving unit; a body to which the first light receiving unit is secured; a first exterior portion that covers at least a portion of the body; and a mount that is capable of having an interchangeable lens attached thereto, to which the body and the first exterior portion are secured. Also provided is a light receiving apparatus, in which a body to which a first light receiving unit is secured and a first exterior portion that covers at least a portion of the body are secured to a mount that is capable of having an interchangeable lens attached thereto, and force placed on the first exterior portion is absorbed by the mount, such that transfer of the force placed on the first exterior portion to the body is reduced.

In a camera, a first cam is rotated to assume a rotational phase at which drive of a first shutter blade set with a first drive force is not hindered and a second drive force charge cam face in contact with a second charge member charges a second drive force as a rotating shaft is caused to rotate to a first rotational phase. A second drive force charge cam in contact with the second charge member sustains a second drive force charging state period in which the shaft in the first rotational phase rotates to a second rotational phase. A first drive force charge cam face in contact with the first charge member charges the first drive force and the second cam face in contact with the second charge member charges the second drive force as the shaft rotates from the first rotational phase to the second rotational phase.

Camera

The observation device includes: an optical unit on which an intermediate image of an object to be observed is formed; a display unit that displays an image of a subject to be photographed; and a display unit moving unit that causes the display unit to be inserted in and removed from an optical light path for observing the object without moving the optical unit. Also, the camera includes: a finder optical system and an image-capturing unit that captures an image of a subject. The finder optical system includes an eyepiece unit; a focal plane plate on which an intermediate image of an image of a photographic subject is formed; a display unit that emits light; and a display unit moving unit that causes the display unit to be inserted in and removed from a light path in a position closer to the eyepiece unit than the focal plane plate.

Observation device and camera

An imaging apparatus which is thin in thickness and has enough strength to be able to be accommodated in the breast pocket of one's shirt or back pocket of one's pants or in a handbag without bothered by a feeling of strangeness is provided. The imaging apparatus is composed of an imaging unit and an operation unit, both units being connected rotatably relative to each other by a hinge mechanism and formed into a low-profile, rectangular shape in the normal state in which the units are positioned parallel to each other. The operation unit is composed of an upper and a lower cover, a main board having a memory slot and an accommodation part for a flat type battery respectively on both flat faces thereof is contained inside the covers, the main board being supported by a main board supporting part or parts provided at a corner or corners inside the covers, a display is located on the memory slot side, and a control board of the imaging unit is located sideward adjacent to the battery accommodation part of the main board.
