A plunger pump is provided which comprises: a pump body having a cylinder hole with an expanded diameter section; a plunger defining, together with the lid member, a pump chamber; and a coiled spring disposed within the expanded diameter section. The coiled spring includes: an effective winding section; a lid-side seat winding section; and a plunger-side seat winding section. The lid-side seat winding section has an outer diameter larger than an outer diameter of the effective winding section, and the plunger-side seat winding section has an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the plunger. With this configuration, the coiled spring within the pump chamber can have increased stability, and can be located in the center of the pump chamber.

The vehicular brake hydraulic control device includes a plurality of electromagnetic valves arranged at regular intervals on a first attaching plane of a body, and coil assemblies fit over each of the electromagnetic valves, wherein the coil assemblies adjacent to one another are arranged apart by a predetermined gap. The vehicular brake hydraulic control device further includes a rubber seal having a linear segment formed in a convex sectional shape swelling outwardly of the first attaching plane of the body, in which the hem of the seal is sandwiched between the coil assemblies and the first attaching plane of the body, and the apex of the seal enters between the coil assemblies adjacent to one each other.

Vehicular brake hydraulic control device

A counterflow heat exchanger has a pair of disklike end plates between which there are disposed a multiplicity of disklike heat transfer walls. The heat transfer walls have peripheral flanges which are fluid-tightly joined to each other to provide spaces between the walls. There are a first and a second pair of spaced openings defined through each heat transfer wall for the passage of a first and a second fluid respectively therethrough. Each heat transfer wall is additionally fluid-tightly joined to an adjacent heat transfer wall on one side thereof at their edges bounding the first pairs of openings, and to another adjacent heat transfer wall on another side thereof at their edges bounding the second pairs of openings, so that two sets of flow paths for the two fluids are formed alternately by and between the heat transfer walls. The two pairs of openings in each heat transfer wall are situated adjacent the peripheral flange thereof for uniform fluid distribution throughout each flow path. There is also disclosed herein a refrigeration system employing the heat exchanger of the foregoing construction as a refrigerant vaporizer.
