According to one embodiment, a connector includes an insulator and a contact terminal in which an end side is pressed into a counter-press-fit portion of the insulator, and the other end side comprises a soldered portion attached to a substrate with soldering. The contact terminal comprises a flux accumulation portion inside the counter-press-fit portion and/or in an extended end portion of the soldered portion.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing including a wall portion, a printed circuit board including a plurality of lines and provided in the housing, and a connector formed of a part of the housing and a part of the printed circuit board. The connector includes an engagement hole formed in the wall portion and into which a connector plug is inserted. The connector further includes a shell formed of a portion located around the engagement hole in the wall portion, a tongue portion formed of a part of the printed circuit board and provided in the engagement hole, and connection terminals formed of the lines extending to and on a surface of the tongue portion.

According to one embodiment, a television receiver includes: housing; display; circuit board; and connector. The connector is electrically connected to the circuit board, and connected with an external connector. The connector includes: an insulating member; terminal members; and a container. The insulating member includes: a base portion; and an insertion portion extending from the base portion toward the second opening and inserted into a connection portion of the external connector. The terminal members are provided to the insertion portion, and coupled to the connection portion. The container is configured to house the insertion portion. The insertion portion includes: a side surface; and a slanted surface provided to at least one of ends of the side surface at the base portion side and the other one of the ends of the side surface. The slanted surface is slanted with respect to the side surface.

According to one embodiment, a card connector for receiving digital broadcasting includes a store portion into which a card for receiving digital broadcasting is inserted so as to be ejectable, and an ejection prevention mechanism configured to prevent the card stored in the store portion from being ejected. The card connector can automatically release the ejection prevention mechanism when the card is inserted into the store portion, and can automatically actuate the ejection prevention mechanism after the card is inserted into the store portion.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device is provided with: an electronic substrate on which electronic components are provided; a screw including a screw head portion and a threaded portion, and configured to be engaged to the electronic substrate; a conducting member provided between the screw head portion and the electronic substrate and configured to electrically connect the screw head portion and the electronic substrate; and an electrical wiring line provided between the screw head portion and the electronic substrate and configured so as not to be electrically connected to the screw head portion.

According to one embodiment, a television apparatus includes a circuit board, a conductive portion, and an easily broken portion. The circuit board is mounted with an electronic component. The conductive portion is located on a surface or the inside of the circuit board. A breakage detection mechanism detects breakage of the conductive portion by conduction. The easily broken portion is provided to at least part of the conductive portion. The easily broken portion is broken easier than other portions of the conductive portion when a stress is applied to the circuit board.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a printed wiring board including: a substrate including a pair of edges and a fixing hole adjacent to the pair of edges and configured to receive a bolt; a land provided in a vicinity of the fixing hole and extending in a direction from the fixing hole toward a center of the substrate and along the pair of edges; and an insulating height adjuster provided between the fixing hole and the pair of edges and configured to have substantially the same height as the land.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a connector, and a flexible printed wiring board having a board main body provided with a first surface with a conductor provided thereon, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a front end contacting the connector, and a reinforcing plate contacting the second surface at the front end to reinforce the board main body. A projection is provided on the connector in contact with the flexible wiring board. The reinforcing plate includes a recess portion in which the projection is fitted. The recess portion has a space increased in size toward and opening to an end face of the reinforcing plate corresponding to the front end, and an opening provided in the end face and communicating with the space.
