According to one embodiment, a wireless base station includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter transmits a control signal and one or more operation signals to the second wireless communication terminal. The control signal instructs to transmit a signal that requests terminal-to-terminal communication between a first wireless communication terminal and the second wireless communication terminal. The operation signals are used for operating at least a part of the first wireless communication terminal. The receiver is capable of receiving at least one of a response signal or a data signal transmitted from the first wireless communication terminal to the second wireless communication terminal after the operation signals are transmitted.

According to one embodiment, a base station communicably connected to a wireless terminal is provided. The base station includes a processor and a transmitter. The processor is configured to acquire communication condition information indicating conditions of wireless communication with the wireless terminal. According to one embodiment, a wireless apparatus determines a state of a first wireless link with a first mobile station and a state of a second wireless link with a second mobile station in a first communication mode, and transmits a first signal to the first and the second mobile stations in accordance with the states of the first and the second wireless links. A receiver of the device receives transceiver unit information including traffic-light information that the transceiver unit has transmitted to a predetermined channel. An processing circuitry extracts the traffic-light information corresponding to a running direction of the movable body from the transceiver unit information. A transmitter transmits movable body information of the movable body to the predetermined channel. A processing circuitry controls a transmission timing of the movable body information such that a transmission control period becomes a preset first time. A processing circuitry changes the transmission control period to a second time longer than the first time, when the traffic-light information with respect to the running direction indicates a stopping command, and a speed of the movable body is a preset speed or less.

According to an embodiment, a communication device is provided in a movable body and is wirelessly communicable with a transceiver unit and another movable body. The communication device includes a transmitter, a receiver, a synchronization unit, a registration unit, and a stop control unit. The transmitter transmits movable body information on the movable body to a predetermined channel. The receiver receives transceiver unit information that the transceiver unit has transmitted to the predetermined channel. The synchronization unit performs synchronization of reception timing when the transceiver unit information can be received. The registration unit registers a communication area of the transceiver unit calculated based on a position where the other movable body receives the transceiver unit information in storage. The stop control unit stops transmission of the movable body information at a reception timing of the transceiver unit information, when a position of the movable body is within the registered communication area.

A receiving device of an embodiment has a receiver, a demultiplexer, and an interference detector. The receiver receives a multiplexed signal. The demultiplexer demultiplexes the multiplexed signal into a plurality of signals. According to one embodiment, a wireless communication apparatus includes a transceiver, an estimator and a controller. The transceiver transmits and receives a frame in a frequency band which is used by a first system executing communication in a first communication range determined by a first transmission power and a first antenna gain. The estimator determines whether an amount of interference in the frequency band from a second system is no less than a threshold, the second system executing communication in a second communication range which is larger than the first communication range and which is determined by a second transmission power and a second antenna gain. The controller increases a transmission power when the amount of interference is no less than the threshold.

According to one embodiment, a transmitting device includes a transmitter configured to transmit a frame; a first carrier sensor configured to perform carrier sense in a wider bandwidth than a signal bandwidth to be used for a transmission of the frame by the transmitter; and an idle detector configured to determine whether the first carrier sensor succeeds in detecting an idle for a period that is equal to or more than a period for the transmitter to transmit the frame. The transmitter is configured to, when the idle detector succeeds in the idle detection, start the transmission of the frame after a lapse of a first period after the success of the idle detection.

According to an embodiment, a communication apparatus controls controllable nodes. The apparatus includes an acquisition unit and a generation unit. The acquisition unit acquires at least one of a first evaluation value indicating an occurrence frequency of a control request to a target controllable node and a second evaluation value indicating an occurrence frequency of communication error at the target controllable node. The generation unit generates identification information to be assigned to control the target controllable node in a manner such that a bit length of the identification information becomes shorter as at least one of the first evaluation value and the second evaluation value increases.

According to one embodiment, a transmitting apparatus includes a generation unit, a division unit, an imparting unit and a transmitting unit. The generation unit generates first control information in accordance with a first information format. The division unit divides the first control information into control information pieces in accordance with information format divisions into which the first information format is divided and which include respective pointer regions, each of the information format divisions having a same data length as a second information format. The imparting unit imparts, to the pointer region of each of the information format divisions, a pointer indicating a wireless communication resource used to transmit one of the control information pieces corresponding to one of the information format divisions other than the each control information format division. The transmitting unit transmits the control information pieces.

According to one embodiment, a quadrature error compensating circuit for acquiring an in-phase component signal and a quadrature component signal, includes a first filter, a first multiplier, a first subtractor, a second filter, a correlation calculating circuit. The first multiplier multiplies the in-phase component signal by a control value. The correlation calculating circuit calculates a cross-correlation value between an output of the first filter and an output of the second filter, and uses the cross-correlation value as the control value.
