A method for forming a parting line in a coating using an easily peelable coating material comprising (i) attaching a masking tape to a part not to be coated on a boundary between a part to be coated and the part not to be coated along the boundary; (ii) performing a process to improve an adhesiveness with an easily peelable coating material on surfaces of a part in contact with the boundary of the part to be coated and/or a part in contact with the boundary of the masking tape; (iii) applying the easily peelable coating material over surfaces of the part to be coated and the part in contact with the boundary of the masking tape; and (iv) peeling off the masking tape.

Method for forming parting line

A lubricating structure for a speed reducer includes: a case; a reduction gear provided inside the case, the reduction gear being configured to rotate around a rotation axis; a catch tank configured to store part of lubricating oil scooped up by the reduction gear; an oil passage provided in the side wall, the oil passage being configured to guide the lubricating oil, scooped up by the reduction gear, to the catch tank; a rib formed on the side wall so as to radially extend, the rib being configured to guide the scooped-up lubricating oil toward a radially inner side; and a groove provided at an end edge of the rib of the side wall, the lubricating oil trapped by the rib being introduced into the groove, and the groove communicating with the lubricating oil supply object.

Lubricating structure for speed reducer

A partition wall that partitions an inside of a case into a gear chamber in which a reduction gear pair is accommodated and a motor chamber in which an electric motor is accommodated, a bearing provided at a bearing support portion of the partition wall so as to overlap with a side portion of a large-diameter gear of the reduction gear pair in a direction of an axis and supporting a counter shaft, an oil passage provided in the gear chamber and guiding lubricating oil, scooped up by the large-diameter gear to a catch tank, and a communication hole provided in the partition wall and providing communication between the oil passage and the motor chamber, are provided. Lubricating oil introduced into the motor chamber via the communication hole is supplied to the bearing.

Lubricating structure for vehicle drive system

A partition member including a bearing portion that supports a bearing for a first drive gear and a bearing for a second driven gear includes a partition wall portion. In the partition wall portion, a scoop-up wall that scoops up lubricating oil in cooperation with at least one of a first driven gear and the second driven gear is provided near the at least one of the first driven gear and the second driven gear, and a rib for reinforcing stiffness of the bearing portion is provided on a back face of the scoop-up wall.

A rotary shaft and a seal mechanism are provided. The rotary shaft extends into outside air outside a case via a shaft hole provided in the case of a drive system. The seal mechanism prevents entry of foreign matter from the outside air into the shaft hole. The case includes a canopy portion and a recessed portion. The recessed portion is recessed coaxially with the canopy portion from an end face of the canopy portion in the direction of the axis. The seal mechanism includes a deflector and a seal member. The deflector is fixed to the rotary shaft in a liquid-tight manner, and extends into the recessed portion. The seal member is an elastic body. The seal member is fixed in the shaft hole in a liquid-tight manner, and is in sliding contact in a liquid-tight manner with the rotary shaft and the deflector.
