An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a back casing and a first top panel having a first pivot axis under the back casing, the first top panel being configured to be attached to the back casing. The first top panel is configured to be detached from the back casing by opening downward from the back casing around the first pivot axis.

An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a housing defining an outer shape of the indoor unit, and a pipe hole-opening groove section that is in a form of grid-like grooves on an inner surface of the housing. The housing has a box-like shape and includes a lower one surface panel forming a lower end of one side surface of the housing, a one end bottom panel forming one end of a bottom surface of the housing, a lower other surface panel forming a lower end of the other side surface of the housing, and the other end bottom panel forming the other end of the bottom surface of the housing. The pipe hole-opening groove section is formed in at least one of the lower one surface panel, the one end bottom panel, the lower other surface panel, and the other end bottom panel.

Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus

An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes: a heat exchanger which generates conditioned air by carrying out heat exchange between refrigerant and indoor air; and a drain pan disposed below a lower end of the heat exchanger to correct dew condensation water. The drain pan includes at a side portion thereof: a side dew receiving portion which receives dew condensation water; and a recessed portion disposed below the side dew receiving portion, the recessed portion being recessed toward an other side portion opposite to the side portion. A side face of the drain pan is provided with a heat insulating sheet covering an entire opening of the recessed portion.

A communication-adapter mounting device is used for mounting a communication adapter that relays communication between an air-conditioning apparatus and another apparatus. The communication-adapter mounting device includes a body into which the communication adapter is to be accommodated and from which the communication adapter is allowed to be removed, and a clip to mount the body to a housing of the air-conditioning apparatus. A mounting plate of the body includes a mounting hole for securing the communication-adapter mounting device to an installation location in which to install the communication adapter. Further, the body has a clip holding mechanism to hold the clip and to allow the clip to be removed.

A flow cell includes: a flow channel through which a sample solution flows; an inlet section which communicates with the flow channel and to which the sample solution is supplied; a transfer section which includes a plurality of opening sections, one end side of which communicates with the flow channel and an other side of which opens to outside air, and which communicates with the flow channel, and draws in and guides the sample solution supplied into the inlet section to the flow channel; a detecting section which faces the sample solution in the flow channel; and a sealing member which unsealably seals at least either one of the opening section or the inlet section.

Flow cell and liquid delivery method

A measuring chip installation/removal device of the present invention secures and removes a measuring chip to and from the top surface of an SPR measurement device that measures a specimen in the measuring chip by surface plasmon resonance. The measuring chip installation/removal device includes: a chip carrier on which the measuring chip is mounted; a chip carrier guide that guides the chip carrier on the top surface; and a first magnet provided in the chip carrier, and a second magnet is provided in the chip carrier guide. Orientation of a magnetic force received by the first magnet from the second magnet is reversed by displacing the chip carrier guide, so that the chip carrier is secured to or removed from the top surface.

Ends (-) of projections () do not contact a first substrate (), forming a gap between the ends (-) and the first substrate (). The internal capacity of a suction pump () can be increased by an amount by which the projections () are shortened, compared to a conventional structure in which pillars are formed to connect the ceiling and bottom of the cavity of a capillary pump. The capacity of the suction pump () can be increased without enlarging the planar shape. Further, the ends (-) of the projections () do not contact the first substrate (), forming a gap between them. An impurity can pass through the gap, and clogging of the inside of the suction pump () with the impurity can be prevented, realizing a stable operation.

The invention provides an intake-air cooling device for an internal combustion engine that can be installed compactly. The invention provides an intake-air cooling device for a gasoline engine equipped with an intercooler that cool intake air with outside air and an evaporator that cools intake air with refrigerant circulating in a bypass refrigeration circuit, disposed in this sequence in an intake-air channel from a supercharger to the gasoline engine. The intercooler is disposed in an outside-air duct through which outside air passes, the evaporator is disposed inside a case through which the intake air passes, and a bottom plate of the case forms part of the outside-air duct.

Intake-air cooling device for internal combustion engine and automobile using the same

A process for producing printed articles which comprises forming an under coat on a cloth having a rough surface with a foamed composition of a resin emulsion by printing, drying the formed under coat, forming a top coat on the dried under coat by printing and drying the formed top coat. In accordance with the process, cloths having a rough surface such as frieze cloths, pile cloths, knit cloths, towel cloths, felt cloths and blanket cloths can be printed while the proper feel of the cloth is maintained and printed articles having excellent fastness and appearance are obtained.

Then, the information retrieval is controlled by receiving from a user a retrieval request indicating a retrieval target entry that was obtained by the user by tracing the classification trees, generating retrieval commands with respect to selected information sources among said plurality of information sources by referring to each classification tree class information corresponding to the retrieval target entry that is managed by the class definition unit, obtaining a retrieval result of a retrieval with respect to the selected information sources using the retrieval commands, and returning the retrieval result to the user.
